You are paying for the location right on the beach and works very well for a cold beer or a nice coffee. Service seems slow when they are busy however the food is reasonably priced especially off season.

One of the best locations for miles around - right on the beach front at St Palais, great for people-watching on the promenade and the beach itself. More importantly, the food was very good too. We chose individual plates rather than the set menus and felt we had very good value. The best-cooked cabillaud (cod) in any restaurant we've experienced... More

This restaurant at the corner of the central beach gives itself a pretence of being the classy alternative for dining in Saint Palais sur mer. Although the service is efficient, and the dishes are well presented, they lack the expected flavor and finesse - which is rather disappointing with regard to the prices.

We've eaten here twice during our recent stay in the area and the food was amazing both times. The Salade Nausicaa is amazing and I'd highly recommend it. The service was fantastic and the staff couldn't do enough for you. Will definitely be returning next year.

We arrived without any reservation and were greated by a very cheerful staff. The restaurant was full and we were very lucky to get the best table for or family. The food was delicious (mussels and oysters especially) Property including toilet was clean. Plenty of parking spots in the nearby streets. Lovely setting

This was the third year that we celebrated our wedding anniversary at Nausicaa with a lovely sea side lunch with the children. I had mussels as usual and the rest of us had pizza and children's stuff. Was great as ever - friendly and attentive service, good quality food and drink. Relaxed and choc friendly it not full of screamers... More

Sea food not fresh made us both ill all night. The staff were very good but will not eat there again. It should have been good at 38 Euros per head for the main dish.

This was a lovely place overlooking the sandy beach and cove. We had a sunny evening in mid-June and it was lovely to be able to sit outside. My 50th birthday happened to fall during a camping holiday in France and we picked this restaurant at random as we were passing for my birthday dinner, and we were glad we... More

No trip to this area would be complete for us without a meal (or two) at Nausicaa. Pass by Chez Bob and keep walking. Its smart, overlooking the beach, open all day - you can dine or snack while keeping an eye on your things on the beach. Its pizzas are ok, and steaks can be a little iffy (cooking... More
