Wonderful house and garden. Welcomed into the pretty sitting room for drinks and also invited onto the garden terrace. We opted for the tasting menu which was very enjoyable especially the large portion of short horn beef. My only criticism was the small canapés and...More

Don't be put off by preconceived notions; you will be able to relax and be well treated in a very relaxed atmosphere. Stuffiness is not a Derbyshire trait.

We opted for our own wine choice. One bottle was sufficient with dinner and the list is good with some affordable choices.the set wine tasting was too heavy on whites and we prefer reds.
