Stayed there for beach and a drink. Good location and sunbed with fare rates. Didn't try the food just yet maybe another day.

Ordered a simple enough Greek dish- chicken gyros. A large enough plate of food arrived, however it was very lackluster. The 'chicken' had the consistency of jerky and was tougher than the skin of Cerberus - (cerberus should have left this meal in the underworld). The view is nice enough but on food quality versus price alone, very poor showing.

We ate here once on our honeymoon. It was ok not the best but certainly not the worst. We were unsure whether to give it a go but we did and was better than expected. But you will find better. Service is good though and got on very well with the staff all very friendly

Kamari is a hidden gem and we loved the place so much. Food was amazing and the staff made us so welcome and I fell asleep on the sun loungers on the beach. A magical day and these guys really helped. We went for local wine and fish of the day to get some real savings. The scampi was huge.... More

A good place with a nice view of the sea. It was decorated in the traditional Greek blue colors. Me and my friend had the sea bass with a Greek salad. Quality wise, the food was good, however, it delayed a long time before it was served, and the prices were a bit costly. Of course, in relation to the... More

We had a lovely dinner in Skaramagas restaurant today. Very nice fisherman's spaghetti and mussel risotto. We liked the food, the service, the Greek outlooks of the restaurant very much.

Unfortunately the worst meal of our week long stay in santorini. We had been told by our hotel that this was a good local restaurant to eat at but really didn't enjoy it and left within 45 minutes of arriving and took 2 bottles of wine back to our room to drown our sorrows.. We didn't get any hello on... More

Description
At the center of Kamari, the most popular beach of Santorini, a blue-white restaurant, Skaramagas, one of the oldest in the area, offers you the tastiest hospitality. The green yard in the shadow, the tables at the waterfront, the traditional Greek tablecloths, the blue chairs, the clean and friendly environment, and the quick and helpful service add to your pleasure. The recipes are light and the vegetarians find many dishes to choose from.Inspired traditional Greek cuisine with special emphasis on the appetizers, "mezedes", is what makes the restaurant different. Here you can taste Santorinian dishes made of local products, like fava beans, cherry tomatoes, caper and kaltsounia. Don't miss the fresh fish, the Mediterranean lobster and the delicious seashell stuffed with spinach and seafood gratin. The filets are special and the wine list includes the best Santorinian and Greek wines. You are invited to enjoy your meal by the sea, from noon overlooking Anafi Island, till midnight under the summer moonlight.
