Often get fish to cook at home but eating on the premises is a casual and enjoyable experience. Almost like eating take away on a picnic table, they will cook to order but having oysters and prawns on the fly is not unusual. After a day on the sand and sea, ruck up to the shed and pick up some... More

It had been suggested by friends that whilst in surfers we should try Peter's. Unfortunately for me I must have turned up on a bad day. Service was very average and the food was nothing special. It was dirty and unkempt. In my opinion it was just another fish&chip shop😕

While staying at the Sea World Resort and wanting a cheaper option for dinner one night we headed down to Peter's Fish Market. I had read the reviews on Trip Advisor about this place and at that time its rating was #3, and it did not disappoint. When we walked in the array of seafood was great, the kids had... More

Heard some good review about Peter's fish market so I decided to take my family from oversea to try our "Fish n Chip".When we walked in the shop, the shop is dated and not welcoming. Was going to try their “pick what u want and they will cook for you option"but found they charge about $10 more per kilo if... More

We always look forward to visiting Peters every trip to the GC. Situated next to the banks where the fishing trawlers come in, Peters fish and chips are beautiful and fresh. We had prawns, flake, calamari and chips. Everything was wonderful. But watch out for the cheeky ibis!

Peters used to be the place one would go for great fish and chips and I did for years. But this time I was disappointed with the range available. Peters looks tired and in need of a makeover but that aside we decided to try the Basa grilled and battered along with chips, crumbed prawns and scallops with a couple... More

Very nice, cheap and fresh seafood! Expect the long queue though but it's worth it! The shrimps are the best!

If it's fresh fish 'n' chips you are after then Peter's will deliver! I was a bit disappointed that there were no salads available apart from coleslaw however the fish was really good. Be prepared to queue up very popular place but that's a good thing right?

Decided to walk here from Seaworld and had high expectations as I was comparing it to the first market in Sydney. It was a huge let down. The place was quite old, outdated and small. Was expecting something bigger. Ordered calamari rings, herb & garlic prawn skewer and a dozen oysters. The calamari came in small and large size. I... More
