If you want a restaurant that guarantees excellent food and service, then Omeros Bros is that restaurant. We were a table of six and every entree and main was fresh, delicious, and high quality. Service was exceptional. We were there over three hours, and it...never waned. We were given an excellent table, and the view was very pleasant. The final bill was very reasonable given the high quality of the seafood. We can't wait to return.More

The barbecued bugs were a bit dry, but the sushi and whiting were excellent. Excellent wine list and great service. Location is quite good and consistency is a real benefit.

The waiter service was five star but the food was a disappointment. I ordered a seafood platter for two and I suspect some of the seafood served up was cooked earlier, as it was edible but really dry and had used its useby serving time....Perhaps the chef hadn't arrived as we ate Early at 17:15. I also made the booking as a special occasion being my wife's birthday and would have thought they may have atleast said happy birthday to my wife when we were seated. A small detail but important if you want returning customers. In summary the calamari. fish and scalloped were very good, but the octopus was dry and chewy. The mussels were also overcooked and the Morton bay bugs were very dry. At $95 per head I would have expected a higher quality, you need to match your food , to the table service provided. I am not a whinger and only post reviews when the food is either great and/or not so great.More

I am a local business person and had been warned they were pricey, but I don't mind paying if the food is good. SADLY... I ordered the grilled octopus as a main- $41.00. I received 3 octopus legs about 5 cm in length, a tablespoon...of dip and a very small amount of coleslaw. That was bad enough but the octopus was rubbery and very chewy. Thank god for the baskets of fries they gave our table- and they were lovely and crisp. The others in my group seemed to fare better with their meals, but I was not impressed. I certainly won't be going back. There were 5 of us at this table, and we ordered quite a lot of food and some drinks, but it was difficult to get hold of the waiters attention to keep the water coming.[ It was not a busy night.] Rather than leave a couple of bottles for us, we had to keep waving them down. Then at 9.00pm they were asking us to leave so they could close down... on a Saturday night! I expect better from this supposed calibre of restaurant. Wouldn't recommend this restaurant... there are so many better options on the Gold Coast. Save your money and go elsewhere.More

We booked for a late lunch and had the perfect battered whiting where the batter is thin and incredibly crisp. The chips were different from the last visit and were coated which were less enjoyable than the ones that they used to serve but still...good. In general, the chips sent a signal of being frozen and more like eating a supermarket product at home. The grilled snapper was simple and fresh, the accompanying mash was rich and buttery. The salad thankfully remained the same as our last visit, it is a coleslaw with peas, mint and cheese curds made perfect with the addition of pickled red onions. The wine list is reliable and the service efficient, a bit on the cursory side but the food came promptly and for the most part was delicious. Overall it is a solid choice for seafood and represents reasonable value, here's hoping that the old fries make a come back.More

Great food , great location, staff on automatic. Maybe they think they’re too good to be waiting, who knows. Shame.

The setting is lovely and live crab on the menu. It was one of the worst crab meals we have had. The presentation was amazing however the crab was dry and flaky and tasted like it had been frozen. There was very little meat in...both the claws and legs and what was there was shrivelled up. It was done Greek style with lemon and oregano sauce which did taste good. The fries were exceptional as were the oysters but when you pay top dollar for a whole mud crab you would expect better. The wait staff were attentive and helpful. My suggestion is perhaps choose the crab from the tank to ensure it is live and not frozen, based on this experience we do not recommend this restaurant.More

This restaurant has won many awards, but nothing since 2007. It may have once been a great restaurant, but not any more. I had the spaghetti bolognese, which was pretty good, but not great. My wife had the grilled lobster which was...appalling. The last time...we paid that much for rubber was when we got new tyres for the car! I'm not a seafood lover, but my wife is and she said it was awful. Bland, rubbery, and hugely disappointing. She had seafood linguine the night before at Glass and the lobster in that was much better. She said the flake in the $13 fish and chips we had for lunch was far superior to this $190 disappointment. Omero Bros needs a complete revamp, both in menu and decor. Surely there's a more modern take on steak than steak Diane? The redeeming quality was the staff. The lady who greeted us was lovely, and our waiter was great - very friendly and great service. If you want a great experience in the same location, walk for 10 seconds to Glass which is next door, you'll be much happier.More

I love the option of small meals for some of the dishes. For small eaters they are just the right serving size. Loved the spaghetti marinara and the Moreton bay bug mornay. The seafood was fresh and flavoursome. Service was spot-on, and very efficient, even...on a busy night. There were some good choices of wine available by the glass, which as far as I am concerned is a big winner these days.More

Smart casual would be ideal. The location is second to none, the service and food excellent. I believe it's a credit to you as the diner but also to the restaurateur to dress for the occasion. Elise.

Yes , I think they are able to BYO. I think it would be a good idea to look at their website or call them first, incase things have changed but when we went it was ok, for a corkage price.
