We were there cos they told us it was fun, great, good food, and the reality, it was nothing like that... it wasn't funny trying to get a sit there, it wasn't great when the waiter didn't take care of the costumers, and the food......More

El Parian is an institution in Tlaquepaque. This is a beautiful square with open center and a kiosk, where the mariachis play while you drink/eat. My suggestion is to get a drink and some botanas (appetizers) . That way you can experience the venue and...More

We enjoyed the mariachi's here on a beautifully designed center pavilion, but we ate elsewhere. There are what appears to be many ¨different* restaurants, but they all are pretty much the same, all serving meat with very little for vegetarians.

This tourist trap is overrated and overpriced. Went to Paco's for dinner with friends, the food was awful, and the service was even worse. The only time we saw our waiter after ordering was when he brought the check and he didn't budge until he...More

El Parian must improve the food and service, if the place really wants to take the experience to a better level, no many waiters speak the international language English, even the basics, most of the food is no really good as we expected for Mexican...More

It was a quiet night, but a bored waiter didn't make it any better for us. Saw basically three times order, bring drinks and check. Its fun to sit and watch people, but Mondays are really not hopping.

Let me begin by stating that I am of Mexican decent, so my review may be a little bias. This was my second time going to El Parian, not to be confused with El Tlaquepaque (which is the entire Market, shops, etc...) I would recommend...More

I was sitting outside and even outside it was far too loud. The service was very basic and unfriendly and we had the feeling they do not need clients. They are spoilt by tourists.

Good place to seat, drink a beer and eat traditional food. For those that needs a refresh beverage try the "casuela".. Its a mix of orange+grape fruit+lemons+ lime with some kind of soda with ice. Very refreshing.

El Parian is a classic in Tlaquepaque I have been many times and this time I was disappointed it was very hard to convince the restaurantes to give me a table since I was alone and not a big table which was their hope. The...More

All of the bars/restaurants are essentially the same--poor quality and high prices. The best way to enjoy the Parian is to buy a bottle of Tequila and snacks and sit outside. You can still enjoy the Mariachis.
