This community run pub has everything, great atmosphere, good food and drink, set in one of the prettiest villages in Wales. Fortunate to be there last Saturday when various groups were playing all day long, followed by an Irish Folk band in the evening. The friendliest people and they certainly know how to enjoy themselves! We look forward to spending... More

Lovely characterful old pub in idyllic village at the foot of the Clwydian hills - great walking country. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the food is home made and really tasty, and some excellent local real ales. The food is very reasonably priced. We had main courses - steak pie and cheese pie - which were both excellent.... More

Visited here for Mother's Day with my husband, daughter ,son in law and two grandchildren. The welcome was friendly and we were quickly shown to our table. All mains and puddings served were delicious and the service was very good. This is a lovely traditional pub. Would highly recommend and look forward to return visits. The village of Llanarmon is... The Raven Inn has been run by members of the local community now for a number of years. During that time it has grown and developed so that they now even offer the facilities of several well appointed letting rooms upstairs. The place is always immaculately clean, brasses shiny, etc., lovely and warm with a big cosy log burner. Food... More

Booked in for a Sunday lunch, it was beautiful. The service was polite and courteous. The food was great and the ales were very tasty. Couldn't believe it was a community run pub, which made it all the more enjoyable. Many thanks.

The steak and chips with onion rings was excellent, the steak was soft and melt in the mouth and the onion rings were to die for! The steak is from Jones the butchers in Ruthin (one of the best in the area). We thought the deal was excellent value. The new chef Kate is really making top notch food.

Stayed B&B on recent walking holiday with friends. Good choice on menu, big portions and delicious dishes and lovely ambience. It is run by village volunteers and everyone was friendly and helpful. No breakfast provided but store next door and facilities in room. Lovely bed!

Had been staying in lovely accommodation in the village and had been recommended to visit The Raven especially as it is owned and run by the local community. Recommend you book first as it gets busy. What a great surprise and evening! We were welcomed and spoken to before we even got into the Inn. Friendly attentive staff/locals showed us... More

Accommodation and rooms were very comfortable, and well equipped, - pub was one of the friendliest that I have ever been to, and drinks very reasonably priced. Don't take a meal for granted though, you need to check before hand, as food is not available on every night, and it is set up for you to cook/bring your own breakfast,... More
