We were staying near Kavros for 21 days and luckily found this place on our second day. We tried every single dish on the menu and literally everything is delicious. We were 13 so it's hard to please everyone but Pelagea's Yard succeeded in it. Some times while traveling we tried other places but it was the best. My favorite... More

Hi, We are doubt for your tale as for the part that in the mix grill plate for two was not any pork souvlaki and no chicken fillet souvlaki. Souvlaki are served with out bones! Or no sausages was not in the served plate. We can admit ofcourse that could happen the second time the lamb chops was spare ribs... More

We cam here as a couple to get away from the family for one night, although it didn't seem much from the outside the smells of the food were enticing enough to get us to site down. The squid for starters followed by the Sea Bream was heavenly, the only issue is that when it gets busy the table &... More

If you are staying at Kavros you MUST go to this place. The foods is just excellent coming directly from their farm. The people are very nice and kind . We have been there twice during our stay and will come back for sure. And the prices are not expensive at all... You should try the lamb which is so... More

A precious little, family-run restaurant serving traditional Greek dishes with attention to detail. Pelagia's Yard uses fresh, home-grown products (both meat and wine). A mixed platter of meat (serves two) with potatoes, tsatsiki and half a liter of wine comes at 26 €. Given the quality of products used, we feel that the dish prices are below value. This will... Fantastic atmosphere, great home-made food, genuine friendly family, with dad running the Tavern (including filling up every customers little glass with raki after a well enjoyed meal , "jassas, bottums-up"), mum coocking the most wonderful food, and Kalli serving everything in her friendly humouristic style. The first night we were lucky to enjoy life music and Greek dancing, a wonderful... More

Lovely tavern where they serve mainly products from their farm, owned and run by the dad. Pelagia, the mom, is the very skilled cook which prepares flavorful yet simple dishes where the ingredients are the protagonists , and Kaliroy, the daughter, is the lovely, charming hostess which makes you feel like you're having dinner in your own home. An hidden... More

It is a cozy place with very warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The menu consists of traditional cretan foods and is somewhat laconic but the latter is completely balanced by the quality of their meals. The only small downside - place is a bit small so the situation when there are just no free tables is not unusual. To summarize... More

Nice place with lovely tasty tradition food. Not everything on the menu is available at all times but you are invited to select the dishes of the day from the kitchen.
