This restaurant is located in the heart of Juayua, about two hours drive from San Salvador but the drive is well worth. The food is prepared with a lot of care and attention to detail. Ingredients are as fresh as they come and they have plenty of options for every taste (meat eaters and vegetarians alike). The ambience is great,... More

I visited twice during my three day visit to Juayua ... and probably would have gone more, but it wasn't open the first two days I was in town. Very pleasant courtyard place with an interesting menu that features their own beers, tasty mojitos, and terrific pizza ... offered with their impressive assortment of their own hot sauces. Only drawback... More

The traditional mojito was one of the best I have ever had! The staff was friendly since my Spanish isn't the best. The pizza was good as I wanted to try the local mushrooms on a pizza. (You can add the mushrooms to any pizza if you don't want just a mushroom pizza)

We went here for a drink but were pretty much forced to leave due to the awful music played by the DJ. At one point the lady on the table next to us actually put her fingers in the ears as the music grew steadily higher in pitch. We love Cadejo beers but found them to be a lot pricier... More

El Cadejo offers a varied and very complete menu a flare for fusion dishes and good over all prices. They also have a full bar, electronic music and many time live music on weekends. I believe they are only open from Wednesday through Sunday. I have tried many plates and have yet to find one I have not loved.

A cool relaxed place with a bit of a hipster vibe. It's on pricey side but they do some nice home brew beers that are worth trying out.

We visited here during business in the area. The coffee served was excellent, bourbon grown in the local region. It is a beautiful cafe, well light and adorned with artwork.

My family enjoyed the staying at this fun place; even the decorations makes you feel you are living back a legend of the local culture: bathrooms for men are signposted "Sipitío" and Women's "Siguanaba"; that's hilarious.

If you want to get a great Mojito and get a sweet vibe in the Salvadorean small town of Juayua you got to the right place.
