The views of Georgetown and the mainland are nice, the gardens are well kept, the staff attentive and more importantly the food was fantastic value for money = great quality food. I ate the herb crusted roast lamb rack and my wife ate the beef wellington - both dishes were top quality. Again the wait staff were excellent in both... More

Comfortable environment, nice view with a water lily fish pond in the garden. Staff service good. We ordered set lunch for our brunch. Mushroom soup, salad and lamb loin is delicious. Will come back again for dinner and night view.

Seriously nothing special....just overpriced coffees and beers, if you require food get some from the bottom of Penang Hill before you come up....all fresh cheap and delicious!

Had a delightful lunch at the highest restaurant on Penang Hill as declared on their banner. Nice view, nice garden. With tables by the restaurant or out in the open in the garden.

The Skyterrace @ David Brown’s Strawberry Hill is a fantastic place to sit down and have a drink and look at the mad world go by or just …to enjoy the amazing views.

We reached the top on Penang Hill and arrived at David Browns for afternoon tea. The setting is amazing and place is lovely but the afternoon tea was disappointing. There were six of us and we arrived before 3 and it took some time to convince them to let us have a bit earlier. 5 of us were vegetarian and... More

Thought we would check this out away from the average tourist snacks you get with the masses lower down. Quite quiet, far enough away that you can't hear people wandering past and the views are just as great. Went for the set meal for lunch and we were very impressed. We went after walking around the hill as you'll be... More

Went there for dinner. Scallops the consistency of yellow dot squash balls. Tiniest piece of steak cooked nowhere near what I ordered, but followed up with very nice piece of chocolate cake and ice cream which basically saved the meal. Helpful friendly staff but obviously had little or now training.
