Karaikudi Restaurant Tanjung Bungah serves you the best tandoori chicken and kebabs in the town in a cozy atomosphere and friendly service .

Food mediocre, service surly, ambience non-existent. One of many restaurants in Little India, this was the worst I've been to, and I have been to at least six others in the near vicinity.

Wonderful tasty meal. Great selection of southern and northern Indian food. Mainly southern and vegetarian albeit we had northern and meat! The food was subtedly yet powerfully spiced compared with the food in many other restaurants. Not heavy on the stomach. A real treat in fairly basic surroundings - but you are here for the food not expensive surroundings. This... More

The food here is quite ok but the service is terrible. Communication problem because the waiters in this restaurant cannot understand English and we have to use sign language to order the food.

we were invited for a lunch with Indian friends living on Penang. Food was so good and we miss such restaurants in Switzerland where we are residents. We had madurai mutton, kerala chicken curry, butter chicken masala. Garlic naan and mango lassi to go with ! excellent experience...In switzerland we would pay 4times more !!

The food was great! Spicy and tasty! We all loved the paavakaai ( bitter gourd) fry especially! Would definitely recommend a visit to this place if you are looking for an authentic chettinad food and you can handle a little bit of spiciness!

I came here on business and one of my partners took me here for lunch. The place was packed with locals (and mostly Indians) which is usually a good sign. The food was prepared fresh from scratch so it took about 30 minutes but boy was it good. Also, I are the food with my hands like everyone else in... More

Haven't had REALL Indian food since I was in India 2010! Wow I can't describe this in words...it actually feelt that I was back in the north of India. COULD'NT have a better experience at this genuine resturante. Frindly staff, value for the money, not expensive, big menu with plenty of vegetarian dishes!

Visited the restaurant again to try its vegetarian lunch set.It is amazing how vegetables could be prepared in so many ways and delicious as well.Set had about six small stainless steel cups; four containing different types of vegetables ( some cooked in curry & some fried) plus yogurt and rasam ( a sourish soup). In addition you are also provided with...
