BIOS is a roadside eatery that's aspire to be more, unfortunately they fall short of their ambitions right now. They have been an award winning roadside restaurant in the past...... Don't get me wrong, they have a wonderful selection of local or short travelled ingredients' in their menus and some days do they serve really good and tasty food but... More

I was most certainly NOT expecting such amazing food when we called in here in June. I have lived in Norway for 20 years and usually have suitably low expectations of roadside diners. We were staying in a cabin about 30 km from Bios, and ended up driving here every day either for lunch or dinner. The place is beautiful,... More

The staff made us very welcome late on Monday 2nd Feb. after being evacuated from the MS Kong Harald at Honningsvag en route to Tromso following storm damage to our ship. A lovely meal of stew, rice and broccoli (with some veggie alternatives as well) was enjoyed by all. Thank you. Peter Foley (UK)

This is the third time I have visited Bios - I tried the Klippfisk for dinner and the fish soup for lunsj - both are winners, I tried the natural strawberries with cream and it was just excellent, and the local interior decoration together with excellent food and a service minded staff - this is a perfect sub-Arctic experience !!!

If you ever pass throug the village of Storslett on the E6 route in Norway, make shure you plan to make a stop at this road side diner/cafeteria. The place is out of the ordinary when it comes to good food served by the road in a cafeteria. You find lokal produce in almost every course. Try the reindeer meat... More

The local hotel recommend this restaurant, we were tired so headed off reluctantly. The exterior didn't look like much - but once inside the door we knew we'd made the right decision. Wow, what an amazing place. Gorgeous interior furnished with local products - stones clad the fireplace, wood from snow defences is on the ceiling, the lighting is amazing,... More

As the only one caffee in Storslett, offers the best quality food in all area. We visited it 3 times. First time i ate raindeer steak with blueberry sauce and my wife had salmon. The steak was cooked to perfection (medium), the portions were big enough, my whife didn't finish all. Second time we had one pizza for 3 persons,... More

Local "Lutefisk" was excellent. A special fish dish in Norway, you either love it or hate it. An old way of preserving the cod. This meal made my jaws flod.
