We simply love this restaurant! The food is excellent, the service is friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxed.
Salvo, the owner, is nice, friendly and very knowledgeable about wines!
Our Etna Guide from Sicily Adventure recommended this place so we've booked a table. Very nice environment on the grand place of Linguaglossa. The food and the wine are good and the waiters are very welcoming. Prices are low compared to the quality.
We were...lucky that there was a procession that evening! (16th of August), a nice animation during our dinner.
Thanks to the chef and waiters.
We recommend the trattoria Linguagrossa to anyone!
Do not forget to book the table since the locals eat there, it is full most of the time!More
Lovely spot. Attentive service, delicious food and a regional menu. Glad we found it as we’d driven to Linguaglossa to eat at a Michelin recommended restaurant, Bocca Aperta, but found it closed on Tuesdays. Very happy with our alternative.
We rocked up at 7pm but sent away as they open at 10 past seven! So glad we hung around in the square until they were ready. Chose chicken and tuna dishes, both good. Staff friendly and helpful, didn't matter that little English spoken.
We ate here twice with our children aged 9 and 6. The food is wonderful and the wine list magnificent. The welcome was warm and we have no hesitation in recommending this as a ‘must visit’ if you are in the area.
Went there today after riding up to see Mt. Aetna. On the way down we stopped for lunch at this charming, well appointed local restaurant. We had anti pasta, then 2 pasta dishes and dessert - torte Mississippi, all of which was delicious. No dinner...tonight.
The restaurant is owned and run by a family. The Mom cooks and her son is in front at the cash register.
We’d go again if we return to Sicily.More
