The place itself is very simple, but the breakfast was great! Really enjoyed the home made jam! On the Main Street.

We have had breakfast here a few times when we are in town.
The staff are limited and stretched. Food is a little greasy. Not as good as it use to be.

We ate breakfast here one morning and also had a quick lunch. The food is delicious homemade and the owner is friendly. It may not look like much from the outside or inside but the food and service make up for it.

Where to start !
The signs all say CLOSED yet they are open ??
I mention to the grubby looking waitress that her signs say CLOSED . Zero response!🙄
She plops down a napkin and spoon on the filthy table then slightly wipes the table with her hand and wipes it on her pants 😠.
I request my table to be cleaned as ever other table around me is ALSO DIRTY !
Im given a cup of (coffee) more like sock water ! In a DIRTY CUP ! 😠😠
Im given the Breakfast menu.
Not one HEALTHY choice on the menu.
All GREASE !
I paid for "sock water" coffee and got the hell out of there .
The comment on the menu about people eating the cooks food and living ..in my opion may be very questionable to say the least!
I 1 million % do NOT recommend this dump to anyone!!.

Amazing breakfast and amazing service don't go there if you're in a rush but definitely worth the visit.

Very basic and low-key breakfast place. Good food, friendly staff, good value for money. Our omelette and eggs were overcooked. Fantastic homemade strawberry compote was great on toast! The restaurant is tired-looking, however.

Food is good. Coffee is really bad. Tables are small and wobbly. Servers are not well presented even for casual service. More appropriate for a backyard bbq. Bathroom is very clean and roomy.

Good home cooked food, love the homemade strawberry jam. The crispy homemade hashbrowns were the best I had in ages.

Litte Cafe, nearby the EganInn. They offer great breakfast menus for an absolutely great price! Everything is fresh and the owners are so friendly.

This was our first stop on a long motor trip out west. We needed fuel to keep going so stopped as we always do on long trips for a late cooked breakfast. We are always searching for good home cooking instead of fast food. We definitely found what we were looking for at the Bonnechere Cafe in Eganville. The veggie omelette I ordered was chock full of vegetables - even celery, which I had never had in an omelette before and it gave it a very satisfying crunch. The decor is by other than a professional. Its amusing and very much reflects the personality of the cook.

Delicious Breakfast that was more than generous portions. It was Father's day and all the Father's received a surprise scratch and win card. Nice touch to a very comfortable cafe where you feel at home.

First off, i'd just like to say I was as optimistic as possible when this place opened up so hear me out. For my brothers birthday I took him here for breakfast along with his daughter. He got the bacon and eggs special, her a pancake and me toast and bacon. We waited 25 minutes to be served, and not to get our food, to ask us what we want to drink. Now if this place was busy I guess I could understand but it would be stretching it. However, there we're two other couples in the restaurant. After another 35 minutes we got our meals, and I'm convinced that the toast spent that half hour in the toaster because it was black as possible. My brothers meal was mediocre at best. The only upside was the price, it's cheap, but even then I wouldn't recommend. I will not be going back.

Great service. Great price. Great food. You have to stop here. As son as we waked in the door we were greeted by our server with 2 steaming cups of coffee. Service was friendly and I beleive was one of the owners. He had lots of character and reminded me of a buccaneer. The breakfast was down home cooking

Looking for a great place in town to relax in comfy leather chairs and induge in a great cup of cap.
esspresso or regular? Stop at the Bonnechere River Cafe for a delicious dessert too. Even wi-fi here and art by a local artist.
