I love this cafe! Living in Oromocto it’s hard to find a good coffee or hot drink. Luckily, we have the sour grape. The drinks & savoury options as well as the cheesecake is incredible, but all the other sweets are FAR too sweet -...and I have a sweet tooth. The cheesecakes are amazing but I tried a cookie dough bar, macaroon (the coconut kind not the trendy sandwich type) and some other kind of square and they’re sickeningly sweet. This cafe has a delicious variety of food and treats and drinks. Everything is very reasonably priced. There is lots of different types of seating, with bigs windows that let in lots of natural light. They also serve some lunch/breakfast type foods if you need...more than a treat. Very homey atmosphere.More

The food choice is original and home cooked. Great variety of coffee and friendly service. Above all the atmosphere is cozy and accommodating. Great for solo visits, for friends reconnecting or small group gatherings.

A great little find. All on the menu looked great and freshly made. Had a simple breakfast sandwich and coffee. Hit the spot. Will come back for sure.

Our daughter recommended the Sour Grape for lunch as the food is made from scratch. I had the chile which was very good, the fresh made coconut cream pie was delicious and the smoothie's are superb. Good homestyle food at reasonable prices.

There isn't really anything wrong with Sour Grape, but there isn't really anything great about it either. -The service is very slow and often disorganized. -Tables are typically all taken up by guys on laptops using the free WiFi. Where are paying customers supposed to...sit and chat? -Food is typically good homestyle options, but the panini's are bland, and not served with a side or garnish. -The parking lot looks like it has been bombed. It needs to be paved. I do like that they have an espresso bar, because their brewed coffee is weak.More

Everything I have ever ordered from here is terrific. Nice spot to sit and catch up with a friend over tea and a pastry. Chicken nachos, quesadillas...pies, cakes, cookies...yum!

Out for coffee and sweets love the live music of local entertainers.date squares are large and very delicious.service is friendly and quick.

My husband and I love sour grape. The staff are always friendly, the coffee is always hot with several options to choose from. There's plenty of options for milk and dairy free. They have some of the best desserts and treats. It's a great little...spot to sit in or just grab a coffee to go. Their lunch menu is also delicious. Probably the best little gem in Oromocto and we tend to visit weekly at least.More

The sour grape is a hidden gem of Oromocto. From the exterior you wouldn't expect it to have a spacious lounge feel inside with a split level seating area. It was our first time going there, and it was a big surprise! The food was...excellent, quite tasty I have to say, along with their variety of coffee flavours. I will for sure return to this place in the future.More

Their Thursday chicken pot pie special is a very good meal. A great selection of home baking from pies,cheese cakes,squares and cookies a great place to have a coffee or a quick lunch
