Nice looking restaurant, live music, outside seating and smoking area. Service was good and fast, apart from the Manager (older male) He was really stressing out and shouting at his staff, who remained real nice to the customers. Food was nice, worth going even for just a portion of chips. The fish was wonderful! Easy to stop by while cycling... More

Delicious food....strong flavours; large portions ( you can ask for small portions at roughly half the price - and they still challenge those with a smaller appetite ); quirky internal decor ( as mentioned in previous reviews ); good prices for food ; quick service; head waiter ( German? ), has a wonderful personality ( other waiting staff are quiet... If you have never been to this pub then you are missing out! The managers & staff really know what customer service is all about, the food was beautifully presented and they know their wines. We will be back.

Been going for years and usually not a bad thing to say except on this occasion when I was confronted by the dreaded leaking men's urinal nightmare from hell. Urine all over the floor without even a wet floor sign. You could smell the piss from outside the double door, disgusting! Why oh why do pubs and restaurants in this... More

I was ready for the silver shoes with your bill in them and the quirky and eclectic mix of artwork and antiques dotted around the place, as we used to go to their sister pub The Holly Tree in Walberton quite a lot. The food is really reasonably priced and the portions are generous. The waitress was friendly and efficient,... More

Had an amazing time at The Woodmancote Pub last night. What a great place! Brilliant service, Gerry was great fun and couldn't do enough to help us (excellent wine choice Gerry), as were all the staff. This place has to be seen to be believed, so many warm and welcoming nooks and crannies, quirky furnishings and fun aspects. Last but... More

£28 per head for 3 courses with Robbie Williams singing. And they were all very good, second time there first time was burns night, If you like a pub with a differences it's the place to go. A bit out of the way so you have to drive or get someone to do it for you.

Just been here for dinner with friends. We booked an early sitting straight from work. Wednesday is steak night apparently so we chose the rump steak & shared a bottle of wine - 2 meals including wine £8 each! Perfectly cooked steak, great onion rings & mushrooms, chunky chips & peas. Good portion sizes. Can't go wrong.
