My husband and I were fortunate enough to book a table at Saisons restaurant for lunch . The whole experience was a delight, from the chateau, to the view of the garden, the wine, very attentive young staff and of course the food. Old hat, poor food, disappointed, sent our main course back, steak as tough as old boots. Very overrated, much better value in Lyon, cost us a fortune to find out.

Also called Saisons, the student restaurant has nothing amateur about it! We enjoyed an excellent meal with paired wines here and found the staff and the food highly professional.

We really enjoyed the atmosphere ,the attentive service and the food. One criticism was that although they had been notified of a food allergy the wait staff were unaware of this.

The famous chef opened this school in order to train the best cooks and hotel manager of the world, some students even come from Brazil, Hong Kong, Argentina to learn this '' savoir-faire'' .
