Had dinner here on our first night in Puerto Del Carmen, initially we thought it was okay, I had the Chicken Taco which I thought was nice however the rest of my group were not too impressed with their offerings. They were even less than impressed when we got the bill and found out that we had been overcharged, a... More

Loved the fact on the sea front and very sheltered. Food was very good. We went down there on the understanding from their promoter that our drinks were free. Told him we didn't like sangria and he said no prob. Received bill and the drinks were added but after explaining....they were removed. So no complaints !!

called in at lunchtime for a drink after a long walk along the beach.Drinks were ice cold and great with the bonus of a terrific sea view from the terrace. Didn't really intend to eat there but seeing the other diners there we got peckish. Tried the chicken fajitas and reckon they are the best I've had. Add the Creole/New... More

Went twice with friends to this restaurant following a single visit a year previously as recommended by my cousin who lives in Lanzarote. Firstly, the lady who served us was fantastic and very polite. She couldn't do enough for us. We ordered various dishes, including Burritos, a special, which included a delicious steak, chicken tacos, salad and a side of... More

We visited the row of restaurants overlooking the sea and chose the Mexican restaurant as we wanted something a little bit more tasty than we had been experiencing. The service was friendly (especially given that we had a 5 month old baby) and the views were great over the sea. We had tacos and fajitas (with a kick) and they... More

We were stopped on the street as we were passing this restaurant, I am not a fan of touters and Mexican was not what I was craving for at that time. But the €5 for a kids meal, (main, drink and ice-cream) was appealing! When we were taken to the restaurant, my first instinct was to flee, it just didnt... More

Mexicano El Guey was a lovely place to eat, doesn't look too appealing but it's fantastic. I recommend the chicken fajitas. Staff were great, especially with the kids, they provided them with sombreros to really feel the mexican atmosphere. Lovely place to go.
