We strolled in to Valentina's just as it opened up for service on a Thursday evening. We were welcomed by a friendly young waiter, who looked after us very well during our meal. The food here is lovely. Their chicken dishes are particularly nice. The homemade tiramisu is also delicious. The prices are also quite reasonable. A complimentary shot of... More

Traditional Italian fayre with good service and price. Food was excellent and the restaurant lovely. What sets Valentina's, and the other restaurants in this area, apart from the rest is its location, tucked away just above the marina out of the way of the bustle of the main Old Town area, well worth a visit. We were there the week... More

It's been 20 years since we first ate in Bruno's; Back then I don't think Trip advisor even existed and the restaurant was in a different building! One thing that hasn't changed in all that time is what's on offer: consistently good quality and good value. This has always been our choice when we fancied Italian and remains so today.... More

Think we ate here the day we couldn't get into Emma's (on discount Sunday) because it only next door. Staff were very friendly and the food was great. We were the only ones in there on this particular evening but nothing was too much trouble (not that we are awkward). There was no hurry to leave after the meal and... More

Really nice Italian restaurant. We had starters , main courses , my wife had home made pasta, I had Salmon & prawns in a rich white wine sauce. Both were really excellent, would highly recommend a visit. Service was good and very friendly.

We had several recommendations for this restaurant and visited for dinner in a small group. The food was OK, but not outstanding. I had pork scallops in Gorgonzola sauce which was really nice with ratatouille and saute potatoes. The whisky prawns looked very good. However my wife had a pizza which she found was a little thick and a bit... More

Having read previous reviews on TA we decided to visit here on a Friday evening. It would be around 8:45pm when we arrived and the place was empty! Undeterred we chose from the menu, hubby had the Bruschetta and I had the baked Camembert with Pear. My expectation was a fully baked Camembert which I have been served in previous... More
