As we was passing we thought we would pop in for tea. The place itself seemed to look lovely on the outside and this didn't disappoint when we went inside. The pub itself was very cosy and warm which was great. However, the food didn't live up to our expectations. The quality seemed poor. We both had the steak, I... More

Just moved to the area so every night out is an adventure. Loved the tapas and my husbands' burger was cooked perfectly, apparently. Staff very attentive and helpful and restaurant warm and cosy on a cold Winter evening. Will definitely be returning

We went off friends recommendations amd was pleasantly suprised by the layout and presentation of the pub. However thats were amy positives end. We ordered food from the waitress who seemed to find it funny that my friend asked for bread and butter. The girls waiting on seemed more interested in young males in the pub rather than the customers.... More

This is the second visit we have made to this pub and on both occasions we found it very good value and the staff are exceptionally friendly. If you have an adversity to dogs then it must be said that there are two chocolate Labradors- very well behaved- which roam around. No problem at all for us but some people... More

We found this pub by accident and only had 10 minutes before the kitchen closed. Staff are relaxed and friendly, the service was good, the food was great (both veggie and non veggie). The pub was warm and comfortable with couches, fires and dog friendly which was lovely. Will definately go again.

Met at this proper Pub for a family gathering, walk & meal, not disappointed. We were allowed to park our cars, use the facilities and on our return from our walk the Pub accommodated our large group an hour earlier than we had booked (faster walking than anticipated!). The Service was great, the Staff friendly & efficient especially considering they... More

Not the best advert for Whitchurch. Surroundings not bad but the food and service is more transport cafe than even pub grub. Good carpark.
