I have never left a review, however the service myself and my boyfriend received in Karavaki was second to none and I couldn’t fault the restaurant in any way. Firstly, we were escorted by Penelope to our table, and served soon after. There was no hustle and bustle or rush about the restaurant, which you see in many restaurants in Mykonos Town in order to get you out and get somebody else in, a money grabbing tactic if you will. In terms of the food, it was unbelievable also. Prices were good, and not to mention the view of Mykonos Town- travelling uphill for 5 minutes to the restaurant does get you one of the best views in the town.
Waiters were lovely, although I didn’t catch their names. Penelope however consistently made sure we were okay, gave a smile across the restaurant to make sure we were okay, and overall basically initiated conversation for the night with us which made us feel valued as customers- you don’t get that in many places here in Mykonos. On our way out, she gave me a small leaving gift which was so lovely. She really made our whole experience (plus the food and that view).

I had contacted the restaurant several weeks before our visit as I planned to propose to my girlfriend overlooking the Mykonos sunset. They could not have been more accommodating - they arranged the sunset table for me (with arguably the best Mykonos sunset view), helped me to arrange flowers, etc. Mrs. Pinelopi on the day was so thoughtful and provided blankets, took pictures and videos... After the emotions and a few drinks, we moved inside and had the tasting menu which was delicious from start to finish and very reasonably priced. Thank you for an unforgettable evening and we will definitely be back one day! And again, a very very special thank you to Mrs. Pinelopi who was truly wonderful. Wim & Pauline

The food the view and the staff were perfect I recommend you this beautiful place thanks to Penelope and Christos for these dreams nights. We had some disappointments in the island restaurants with very high prices and mediocre food but Karavaki team’s give us smile with little attentions and a big professionalism. Clearly the best place in Mykonos with great atmosphere and kind people.

There is only one word (in Greek) I can think of to describe the food at the Karavaki. Υπέροχο (delicious)! The sea bass with shaving of fennel, the lamb chops and the tuna tartar are all to die for and all comes served with a breath taking sunset view. Enjoy!

Dinner here was really tasty! Nothing overly complicated on the menu but great fresh ingredients well cooked. Bread and dips so yummy, Myconian sausage to share as a starter was really tasty and then the pork and beef fillet for myself and my husband for dinner. Not beautifully cooked, really tender and delicious!!
Espresso martinis here were amazing. One of our best dinners while in Myconos!

It all started a few months ago when I was looking at TripAdviser for nice places where I would ask my girlfriend for a wife. When I came across the pictures from the Karavaki restaurant, they took my breath away. From the pictures the place is magical, and in reality it is perfect!
I wrote to them about what ideas I have and Mrs. Elena Kostouraki, with whom I kept in touch, assured me that everything will turn out very well. They offered me the most beautiful view at a private table, they took care of the bouquet of flowers and at the same time they helped me with the filming of the moment. Everything was set up exactly the right way and they helped me get the perfect marriage proposal! My girlfriend, more recently my fiancée, was speechless and impressed by all the surprises! If anyone wants to apply for marriage this is the place! I recommend with a lot of confidence and warmth. The food was also very good, both the main course and the dessert. Being the birthday of my fiancée, the dessert came with candles and music from Happy Birthday in the background (which impressed me because I didn't know). For us it will remain our place of soul to which we will surely return to remember these magical moments!

Karavaki Restaurant is part of the Vencia Boutique Hotel. The location is amazing, with views over Mykonos Town and the Aegean. 7.30 is a perfect time to go for sunset. By Mykonos standards the price was reasonable and the food was outstanding! Our 2 steaks, bottle of wine, bread and desert came to just under 120€. The waiting staff were fantastic and gave us a container with some fresh oregano to take home as a souvenir.

I ate here 4 times total. Three breakfast and once for dinner in the evening. The breakfast here is great healthy, tasty, and a big variety. Service was amazing every time and so professional. One of the best best breakfasts I’ve had in a hotel anywhere.
I had reservations in the evening one site and was sat down on a separate balcony by my self. Only two tables there. Everyone else eating too deck. Once we were seated it was 15 minutes before we could get a menu or order a drink. Another 15 before we could order. 25 more minutes before food which is fine. 25 minutes before we could order a desert. 20 minutes before we received it. Then 30 minutes trying to wave someone down for a bill. Finally I walked up to the top balcony to the cash and asked for it from the head person running the bills and cash. After he asked out our meal was I told him the wait times and how even if we wanted to have some drinks or anything no one was checking on us. He just tried to convince me that I was special or something and it was their most private table and I explained to him even though there are two balconies with residents of the hotel right above and behind me that I didn’t mind the table. It was the service. Not being able to order, get drinks, or receive a bill. He then apologized. No discount not free desert nothing just sorry as he seemed very irritated with me. If he didn’t ask how my meal went I would have just went back to my room.
To finish on a positive note the staff are extremely professional here I just believe they forgot about us constantly where we’re away from everyone else. Every-time we sat in the normal balcony the service was amazing. Food was really good even though it was really dark down where we were with no lights or candles on the table. I enjoyed the meal itself. Food quality is outstanding at this restaurant.

Everything was absolutely perfect: from the service, to the quality of the products, the presentation of the plates and the amazing view.
I would like to particularly highlight their personnel, who cares hugely about providing the best customer experience possible and make it unforgettable. We told them in advance we were going for my birthday and they definitely made it special by giving us a table with a great view and even bringing my dessert with a lovely candle and sing Happy birthday to me.
This place is a must-go in Santorini!

The atmosphere in this restaurant is very romantic. The location in this restaurant for a sunset is gorgeous. You get a beautiful view from Mykonos town and new port. The food here is delicious from the appetizers, entrees and dessert everything was perfect.
The staff and service was 10/10. We were celebrating my birthday, and at no point I expected a birthday pastry since its not really a custom in Europe. Well Karavaki brought me a complimentary pastry with a candle while they played a Happy Birthday song. It was very cute and thoughtful.
After dinner, you could walk down to Mykonos town. It was a perfect night!

This place is wonderful for dinner. We were treated so well by all the staff. When we first got there they sat us down and we went to take pictures of the sunset, the amazing sweet man who works there came over and took a TON of pictures of us together which are so wonderful to look back on. They don't roll your eyes at you for being a tourist, but embrace it. We had the best seat in the house, secluded in the back away from the wind. You may think the best seats are closer to the edges of the restaurant are better for sunset viewing but it was EXTREMELY windy the night we were there and we were glad to be secluded, plus it was great people watching. The tuna is delicious and my boyfriend ordered the steak which was fantastic. The presentation of the food is so classy, we were blown away. They are super attentive during your whole experience (but not overbearing). The price point is higher but it is worth it for the photos you will have forever, and the amazing food!

Myself and my parter visited a number of fine dining/fancy places whilst in Mykonos all of which had perfect views and great food however some were a little over priced but Karavaki was the ultimate mixture of amazing food, beautiful views and very reasonably priced at the same time, highly recommend visiting whilst In Mykonos. The beef fillet is amazing 👌👌. All the staff very friendly and welcoming especially Penelope who was super friendly and took loads of great pictures for us!!

We asked about the chef tasting menu, server said it was too much food and recommended ordering individual dishes. We wanted eggplant and were told the chicken was better. We did not want chicken so waiter suggested shrimp dish. We followed his advice and also ordered veal cheeks. The veal was delicious! The shrimp dish was dry and overcooked. It was supposed to have fresh basil, non existent.
I am not sure why they have the chef tasting menu or eggplant on the menu, if the staff will not recommend it. Service was friendly, but never checked on the meal quality until we were all done.

Please kindly note that it is not true that we do not recommend the tasting menu or the eggplant. Our waiter recommended to you not to take the tasting menu as it consists of many dishes and you had told him that you did not want to eat much quantity. So the tasting menu was not a good choice for you that moment. Then you were wondering to try a light dish and for this reason he recommended the chicken dish instead of the the eggplant. All our recommendations are customized to our guests needs and preferences.

We enjoyed two dinners in this restaurant. We fell in love with all important aspects that we expect for a best rating: great food, fantastic view and atmosphere and prefect service. The fish we enjoyed was fantastic, fresh and nicely presented. The servants were very attentive without being importunate. From this restaurant you can enjoy a great view onto Chora and is great for sunset.

Definitely the Best restaurant of Mykonos !! We went there in the evening to have diner with a beautiful sea and sunset view and it was just stunning! The service is also incredibly perfect, the waiter even remember your name from the reservation, great wine advice as well, we will definitely come back. Our food was a delight, we had traditional cheese pie, Mykonian sausage, scallops, king crab risotto and last but not least the delicious pistachio Ekmek. Congratulations to the chef and to all the staff, we couldn’t have a more perfect evening 🤩😋
