Surprisingly dissapointing. After such positive reviews and full booking we were expecting high level of cuisine, but discovered not fresh and overcooked seafood, poorly prepared cheap sorts of pasta and rice (instead of risotto). Service was far from being welcoming. Lots of people came and asked for tables at 19.30 but were refused as "fully booked". In reality the reastaurant... More

My wife planed a very nice romantic evening for us for my birthday, and it included a visit to A Volta. The entrance to the restaurant does not do good with what you'll get when you sit down on the terrace and regard one of the best sea panorama that I have ever seen. Now, you should know, it can... Definitely one of the best sea view for restaurants in this area of Corsica. Our lunch experience was of great quality, with fresh products and good service

The restaurant was busy but the atmosphere was nice. We (a group of 8) were seated on the terrace on a warm summer evening, the view over the bay and the city was beautiful. For the food, I chose the calamari pasta which was splendid - such fresh calamari as I have ever had. I was not aware that it... More

We had fish and tartare. We expected a gourmet like place with local specialties. But left with the feeling that the place was not so ambitious. The food was decent with some positve surprices but also with some flaws and all in all a bit ordinary. The food had a sort of café style with the same Salads on every... More

I was in Carghjese (the real name in the local language) for few days. This is the best restaurant if we take into account the quality of the food, the views, the service and the price. Try to go before dark to enjoy the views.

Located not far from the church in the centre of Cargese, this is an easy to find restaurant with parking nearby. Located down a few steps, the restaurant has superb views across the bay. Very good food - I opted for the sea bass on my first visit and the burger on my second. Deserts were good too. The slight... More
