Consequently as I was paying it turned out to be rather expensive for a disappointing evening. I would return but the others would not. As well as liking the food I enjoyed the location and the staff were most obliging.

Good Value, great french food and particularly good seafood. Would recommend booking in high season. It is also located with a great view of the sea.

Managed to get a table here on a very busy evening without prior booking. Waiting staff were very friendly, the seafood was fab and we had the €13 bottle of Sauvignon which was very tasty!

It was rather windy outside, so we sat indoors - as did everybody else. Service was pleasant and efficient. The fish soup was superb. I had mussels for my main course, while my partner had the red mullet. Both were cooked to perfection. Leave room for the pain perdu in salted caramel sauce for pud. Very yummy

It looked nice, service was friendly...food was okay, we thought. We have both been ill all night...so we wouldn't recommend this restaurant based on our experience. Maybe ( and hopefully) this is not their usual quality...but for customers who eat here only once: we were not amused! So for the staff and owner of this restaurant...beware what you serve your... Love family meal in the port looking out on the boats. Amazing value 3-course menu for €19 each without a compromise on quality.

This was the first restaurant we visited during our holiday as it was recommended on our Eurocamp information. The waitress was very helpful in seating us as my daughter was in a wheelchair. She was also super at helping find her something to eat as she is such a fussy eater. My 16 year old son was also allowed something... More

After a day on the beach we came here for a meal with my daughter and three grandchildren. The food was all good,I had the three course menu,my daughter had moules and frites, one childs menu and two steaks. All good. The service was also excellent, compared with some of the restaurants in La Palmyre!!

We had a break in La Palmyre with a friend and we just wanted to have a light lunch. We experimented "La Paillotte" for a nice salad and a beer. (we were walking from Ronce les Bains to Royan !). We could find a shady place on the terrace and were really welcome. Service was quite fast and the price... More
