Stopped here today. We ordered a salad, the Flambé shrimp, and the house special El Kiosko Pork meal. The servers are pleasant. The salad is a disastrous pile of browning lettuce, canned corn, canned tuna, fresh tomatoes (good), pickled carrots (okay) avocado (okay) black olives, ?artichoke pieces? and Kiwi fruit...(which I guess is why they call it "tropical salad"). The... More

Perfect location by the beach at the start of the Caminito del Rey. Try the Tropical Salad it makes a perfect light lunch for less than 3 Euro.

We had a late lunch there as soon as we finished the Caminito del Rey. We had Pollo al Curry and it was very tasty I also had a piece of chocolate cake for dessert. Overall the service was very nice and the food tasty and good value for money. The views from the restaurant into the dam are superb.... More

Ate dinner here at 7.30pm as hotel restaurant not open until 8.30pm. Only another couple there so service good. Had mixed salad to share then calamares and platos kioski which was pork steak with chips egg and breadcrumbs. All very nice washed down with very good house wine water and coffee. Friendly staff and menu in English.

We found the restaurant on the lake , and went for lunch with 12 people. The table was prepared ok, The ordering of food took its time. And the food was of a quality what you do not expect from a restaurant. Too fast prepared and was missing the good taste. The excellent view from the terracce could not completely... More

I've not eaten in the big restaurant but I am a regular at El Kiosko and like sitting outside with a few tapas and a beer. The staff are really lovely and friendly and the food is typically Spanish with a good selection of tapas. Of course, it is situated in one of the most beautiful areas of Spain so... More

We had 2.5 hours until our walk at Caminito del Rey - which, as it turned out, was only just enough time to order "food", eat it and get the bill. On arrival we sat at a table, were asked if we wanted food and (as we did) we were told to move to another table further into the restaurant.... More

I have been to this restaurant on three previous occassions but never at Easter. Suspecting that it would be rather busy I pre-booked a table for our family of eight, a week in advance. When we arrived for our lunch my worst fears were confirmed. The place was severely overwhelmed by the sheer volume of people visiting the area. Despite... More

El Kiosko is the lower of the 2 restaurants at the start of the Caminito del Rey (the other being El Mirador at the top of the hill). This is also where the bus returns from El Chorro, when you have finished the walk. From here you can either take the shorter walk through the small tunnel halfway up the... More

I ate here last week as part of a "Blanket Tour" coach experience from the Costs Del Sol. We enjoyed a set menu for €10....great meal - 3 courses- tomato soup starter, roast chicken main and creme caramel dessert. Very tasty , excellent value. And the view is lovely- perched above the Andalusian Lakes ( reservoirs) ....lovely blue/ green lakes... More
