Had a very nice anniversary dinner there a few years ago. Owner/staff very friendly.
Nice location. Pricey enough that I reserve it for special occasions.

Stopped in here on the way to Spences Bridge. No menu, the owner(?) explained the choices and they sounded good--and made from scratch. Ate out on the patio with the lake view. Beautiful view, gorgeous day. We both had the lasagna. Came with focaccia and some amazing butter. Very good, but quite expensive for lunch (about $28 CAD each for the lasagna, before the tea).

We stopped here on our way back home because my wife saw the sign saying they had coffee by the lake. We'll you better think the view is worth a lot because they charged over $7 for a Cappuccino! Over priced in my books.

Our family owns a cabin on Lac des Roches and for the past ten years we have been enjoying dinners several times each year at the Lac des Roches Resort restaurant. With each trip to the cabin our dinner out at Lac des Roches Resort is a highlight which we all look forward to very much and we are never disappointed. We have enjoyed all the items on the menu over the years and we often buy an extra pasta dish to take home for lunch the next day. Full marks to Luka and Laura for their friendly hospitality and excellent cuisine! Can't wait to see you both again next year!

Stopped for a quick drink whilst driving on HW24. Was not given a menu and nothing was displayed. Ordered one cappuccino and two cups of tea and was asked if we wanted cake - I'm glad I said no as when the bill was presented the cost was $23. Where does this guy think he is, St Marks Square in Venice? As we drove away I wondered if he had singled us out as idiots but no, looking on here they treat everyone the same!

This was mediocre Italian food. Large portions. outrageous prices for lunch. 1 liter of tap water was $8.95. Main dish was $ 28.95 each.

Well advertised along highway 24 were a number of signs at an Italian Restaurant inviting drivers to stop for a cappuccino. This we did, but noticed there was no price list but ordered 2 cappuccinos and 2 small pieces of lemon cake anyway. Imagine our surprise when the bill came to $33 CAD. Very overpriced, nice lake view though.

We were on our holidays and driving down highway 24 when we came across Lac Des Roches resort and restaurant. They advertise on a big sign to come in for a cappuccino. So we stopped thinking this should be nice. We ordered two cappuccinos and one gingerale pop. When I went to pay for it we were shocked that the bill came to over $25! They charge almost $10 just for the pop alone! This was the most expensive place I've been to for just a coffee and pop. Especially since they are a camping resort and restaurant! It was disappointing.
