This restaurant is in an ideal location overlooking Omaha Beach. It could and should be a wonderful experience. We are in our seventies and have traveled worldwide and this was certainly the worst meal we have in many a year. To be clear the coffee...and the glass of wine were fine but the toasted sandwiches were dreadful. We were hungry and we tried to eat them but gave and left. I hope that the management of this hotel/ restaurant check out what is happening in their kitchen. The young waitress was friendly and upset when she saw we could not eat.More

We enjoyed delicious pizzas here on the terrace, with incredible views of Omaha Beach! You won't be disappointed! Service was also very good!

Simple cafe/restaurant overlooking the beach at Vierville-sur-Mer-sur-mer with a decent outlook and a small boat in the bar area! Limited menu - most people were having mussels or pizza but burgers, omelettes and salads were also available. Not the greatest atmosphere but service was reasonably...quick and friendly. Big bowl of mussels (with fries) for €12 - quite small mussels but very fresh.More

I had six small langoustines that didn't taste of much and it cost me €18, which is a lot. Some of the other guests outside were smoking and the smell wafted over me.

After a long day of touring D-Day sites, I happened to see this restaurant and what people were enjoying--a huge pot of mussels and frites. Wonderful outdoor seating with a view of Omaha beach and the warm glow of the sun setting. It took awhile...to get through all of the mussels, however, I was in no hurry to leave this great view. Definitely a pick me up after a day of remembrance and the reality of what happened on these same beaches.More

The meal we had at the restaurant was quite good. We were provided and amuse busch, the cidre was nice and my meal (lamb) was excellent. The dessert was a different take on a tarte tartin and was very nice. It got dark quick so...the view wasn’t there. Overall a nice meal.More

Good view of the beach but the food was average. Service was good and relatively fast given the number of tables they have. It was very busy. The menu has pizzas, toasted sandwiches etc. Nice for the view if you sit outside and a drink.

We though we would eat here as it had a great view of the beach. it's probably the only reason to go there. The food was borderline disgraceful. The only thing about the pizza resembled a pizza was the shape. Was a soggy paste, tasteless...cheese and there was some red stuff that I suppose was tomato paste. The potato fries were eatable. At least the drinks were fine. The staff were so disinterested, i don't understand why they were there. I don't normally give bad reviews but this was terrible, I would give it a miss unless you would like to make a donation for the view.More

We went to the restaurant for a bite of lunch on a wet and windy day in Normandy. It may have been down to the weather, but we enjoyed the warmth and pleasant surroundings of the restaurant. The service was good, and the food was...very nice. My wife enjoyed her omelette, but it could have been a more generous portion. Considering the location, they could probably have got away with charging more, but we felt that the prices were reasonable.More

The hotel restaurant looks over the beach, an ideal spot for a leisurely lunch. We ordered a carafe of house wine and some delicious nibbles appeared while we waited for our fish of the day: excellent filets of red mullet served with a risotto. We...finished our meal with coffee, also accompanied by “gourmandises”.More

The service was extremely slow. Everything took too long. Then three of us ordered the lamb chops. The lamb chop entrée came with two tiny chops and a few beans. The price was €18. The fish entrée was a little more food. I would not...recommend this restaurant at all. If you want a drink and a good view, I think it works.More

This was the only Place open to eat. We were held to a must eat somewhere. Very limited limited menu, but the food what there was if it was very tasty, however, the food that was ordered was nowhere near an actual decent portion size...of any description. Covering a plate in a handful of chips does not make it any more enticing. We were the party of ten in the restaurant and the lady that served us didn't seem keen on us staying too long, (we had waited For an hour an until 1900 when it opened) we had barely finished our drinks and she was hovering over us with the bill.......food was nice there was just not enough and it wasn't value for money. Staff were polite and friendly enough but we obviously caught them on a bad day!!More
