The servers seemed to be more interested in visiting with & looking after some locals who had just been seated on the patio, rather than taking an order from guests who had been seated much earlier and then ignored (without so much as a glass...of water brought to our table). Two different servers immediately delivered glasses of water to those locals & each chatted with them for several minutes. They walked right by us without so much as a glance in order to do this - despite the fact that our menus were placed to the side and it was obvious we were ready to order. When a server did eventually come to our table, she took our order (from the very small and overpriced menu provided during a special event) and proceeded to get 2 of the 3 items ordered wrong. Coffee was ordered, but did not show up. Yam fries were provided when French fries were supposed to be part of the meal. When the meals were eventually delivered, the server had to be reminded that the coffee that was ordered was still nowhere to be seen. The $23 Mushroom Swiss cheese burger was pathetically basic - dry bun with mustard, a thin beef patty, a thin slice of cheese and a few slices of mushroom. No lettuce, tomato, mayo or burger sauce included. Chicken Strips and Yam fries (instead of the advertised French Fries) were overcooked and dried out. After dropping off the meals she eventually came back with the cup of coffee we had been waiting for - a barely half full cup of lukewarm coffee. As she gave us our bill after we finishing eating, the server made a point of mentioning how busy it was because of the car show. Funny thing about that though - they were definitely NOT too busy to continually walk by us to spend time chatting with those locals seated at the table near us - at one point even going inside and getting blankets for them to use since they complained about it being cold on the patio (Certainly no offers of that sort for anyone else seated out on the patio!) . If they were not too busy to visit with their friends, they were not too busy to provide decent service to other customers. But since it appears that the friends of the servers are more important than the other paying customers, perhaps potential guests should choose one of the many other restaurant options who WOULD welcome them! There are many other spots to choose from - we won't make the mistake of going to the Blind Angler again!.More

Great little find. We were meeting up with family and were thrilled with the venue, nicely decorated, overlooking the water, clean and with good service. We all enjoyed our meal and will return next time we are in Peachland.

The lake view was amazing, the service outstanding but the food disappointing. I had been to this restaurant before and loved everything about it. This time however the food quality and amount was not so good. I had the one piece cod, fries and homemade...slaw. The cod was the size of one and a half fish sticks, was over cooked so very dry. The french fries were great but the slaw was an extremely small portion.More

The food was not well cooked, poor flavour and little value for the cost. The staff was uninformed and the food took a long time to get.

Great find. A small, well decorated restaurant situated on the lakefront. All 4 of us had amazing burgers and fries, all different but all equally raved about. The service was friendly and efficient. We will return.

Fantastic evening spent at the Blind Angler! New owner Ben and our waitress Monica took care of us at dinner: diverse menu choices; delicious appies; and great local BC red wine 🍷 Quaint, cozy and welcoming spot with beautiful unobstructed views of the lake. I took my parents here for their 55th Anniversary. The food was amazing! I ordered the steak and gnocchi with a creamy blue cheese sauce. The steak was done perfectly, beautiful presentation and that sauce was delectable! My parents also raved about their meals. The...sticky toffee pudding was also delicious. A cozy little place, nice location, and friendly service.More

Blind Angler under NEW Management. YAY!! Food was terrific and the service was so friendly and up beat. Will definitely return. Please note the older reviews were under the OLD management. At times they weren’t so pleasant to deal with.

Had the roast beef dinner with all the trimmings. Absolutely delicious! Their burgers are really good too, no fillers, made in house. None of that frozen patty crap. If you’re a seafood lover you must try their clam chowder. Like everything there it’s homemade and...one of the best I’ve ever had.More

Arrived at 6:30 PM for a reservation about 15 minutes for four drinks and then we ordered appetizers took about 30 minutes from then and then we order dinner dinner not did not arrive till 8:30 PM. They kept apologizing for the long wait for...the meals and trying to push drinks on us to run up the bill while we’re waiting. If I were the manager I would’ve at least comped the two appetizers we are not the only people that were disappointed some people had babysitters, and they had to get home and couldn’t wait for their meals. We would never return there after that experience. The manager kept blaming the kitchen staff. How about she get in there and help them !!! I had ordered the soup of the day and it was stone cold did not what is sent it back and keep everyone there longer than need it but he’s already driven 45 minutes from Penticton to get there.More
