You will need to order the speciality lamb beforehand. Leg of lamb, cooked slowly, with slivers of garlic in gravy. It comes with mashed potatoes studded with almonds. Life enhancing.

This place has been almost unchanged for the last 40 years besides the olive trees that have grown up on the parking area. Same family in the kitchen and listening carefully to your wishes. No fuzz. Probably the very best paella around as they are cooked by the families on the wild. Good local wines and appetizers.

Excellent paella ... A typically Spanish restaurant. We arrived without a reservation and was very lucky to be given a table. By 9:30 the restaurant was full of locals (always a good sign). Food was excellent and would recommend the paella

I've grown up going to Mallol for their lamb. You have to order it in advance but it's the best lamb I've ever had: crispy and tender at the same time, served with mashed potatoes and roasted almonds. But I recently discovered their paella. I'm a local and I loved their paella-- one of the best I've had (and not... More

It is worth visiting if you want to experience a Spanish restaurant at all it's glory back in ca 30 years. Even some of the waiters are from that far of the history. It is all about the interior and atmosphere. Food might be better maybe, if it was not for a group. A group menu was A Group Menu,... More

Walked into this restaurant to book for the evening, as it looked so nice. There were several recommended meals which you had to order in advance, but were for 2 or more people, and the leg of lamb was for 3 or more. So when we arrived in the evening, we chose from the menu, plenty of starters to choose... More

Visited with family who use this restaurant several times while they are in Spain. It is very busy at weekends and you have to book and pre-order the lamb or paella. I believe the volume of business and popularity with locals and visitors speaks volumes. A whole leg of lamb is brought to the table and carved into chunks. It... More

Was served rotten and spoiled mussels (incredibly) the smell and appearance. With black hair on a slice of lemon. (Sorry do not photographed). Refusing to eat asked to score. The waiter (who is also the owner) made an appearance that is as it should be. With aggression filed expense.
