Off season the restaurant was quiet - we eat early. Later we were joined by some young french at an adjacent table. Couldn't fail to be impressed by the savoir faire and general knowledge of food and wine. Our meal was great - 2 fish courses (I don't eat meat) and a dessert didn't leave me feeling hungry - my... We were recommended here by some knowledgeable locals who spoke highly of the cooking. But it took ages for our order to be taken and the first hint of food did not show up for 45 minutes. And although we had discussed in decent French what my lactose intolerant partner could eat, the main course-a nice piece of fish-arrived covered... More

i had a business lunch there, it was very quiet, The food was good and service as well. . When we asked to have a faster service, attention was paid to our request, otherwise it was mostly a local crowd.

Classic food in stylish surroundings. This is the place for a meal to remember. We 8 adults and 3 under 14s had the Menu de Pacques on Easter Sunday to celebrate grandad's 75th birthday. 5 courses (main=lamb) and selected wines to match including a lovely Grenache to go with the chocolate pud. Not cheap (over 800 euros including tax) but... More

We have dined here over many years and the food is sublime, the service wonderful, my husband takes me here every year when we visit Brittany I love it - it is one of my favourite restaurants. The wines are also very good. there is also a bistro on the side of the main restaurant and there is also a... More

Since the restaurant at our hotel Manoir du Bodeuc is closed on Thursday, we went to La Roche Bernard - Les Deux Magots for dinner. The three course dinner costs Euro 32 and the quality of food is amazing. Also the presentation of the food was very special.Their chef certainly is worth a Michelin Star. They not only have this... We had a three course lunch with fizzy water and wine for about 30 pounds. This in itself is amazing but what really made it special was the food and service. It was just spectacular, simple, clean tastes and honest, genuine food. If this had been in the UK, I would have had to pay 3 or 4 times the... More

We just had lunch today at this restaurant. What a treat! Interesting combination of flavours, without being strange or too complicated. The food was cooked beautifully. Service was courteous and knowledgeable, and the town itself is very cute and worth a detour.

This is not the food of every day eating but suits a special occasion. We went to start our evening on the 14th July, French National holiday. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted sublime. We both had the menu at 30 Euros and were not disappointed. We had large tempura prawn with an avocado sauce and tuna remoulade. Everything tasted... More
