Noticeably gone down hill since my last visit. They have lost their licence. Mix up with reservation. Food was good but service left alot to be desired. Atmosphere has severely deteriorated. Wont be back.
We stopped off at square roots on the way to Inverness. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious. We had the chicken burger and beef with onion sandwich. Hot chocolate at the cafe was the perfect way to warm up in the cold Scottish weather....Service was super quick and they were very friendlyMore
Visited for lunch on Thursday, had pre booked a table that morning. Service and food were excellent. Had the beer battered haddock & chips with tartar sauce. Batter was perfect - crispy and with just a hint of beer flavour! Finished off with millionaires shortbread...and a Glen Lyon latte - AMAZING. Hope to be back again soon!More
Came here with my wife and 2 wee ones a few days ago. Lovely clean cafe, spotless well maintained toilets which is a welcome change for around here! Never often write a review but the service and quality of food & coffee was definately worth...a shout out. Refreshing to eat handmade food worth the price you pay and homebakes that are actually just that. Too many places have a “homebakes” cabinet crammed with bought in cakes but asked a member of staff and everything here handmade by an in house baker and what a job she does, best carrot cake I’ve ever had. Well worth a stop if your in the friendly townMore
