I loved this restaurant . The food was amazing and the service extremely efficient. We both had lobster , which was fantastic and a generous portion , all for 18euro!! Unheard of in Ireland for such a dish , which was served with sautéed potatoes....The food is no nonsense , fresh local produce , which for me , you can't beat . We had the tiramisu for desert, which was actually 3 pots of different flavoured tiramisu. I'm not a fan of that desert normally but this was amazing !! I will probably never be back in this area again and this restaurant as well as the beautiful rugged surrounds actually makes me sad about that ! If here, eat here . It's deliciousMore

Tried a few resturants in the local area and this was by far the best. Fresh seafood menu. Especially enjoyed the seafood carbonara. Sparkling wine also very good, and for the great food we had the bill represented good value for money. Definitely one to...try.More

Last year we visited Il Porticciolo and were very much satisfied with the service, quality of the food and the menu choice. So this year we went back. Nothing is changed. The service is superb, the menu choice excellent and the food top quality and...good helpings. Absolutely recommended, but please be aware you need to book a table. The best tables are at the veranda facing the little marinaMore

We were looking for somewhere special to celebrate my birthday and anniversary. How lucky we were to eat here. Friendly service, great food and idyllic views. We were three adults who all experienced our favourite foods. Wonderful seafood and excellent pasta dishes. Great prosecco at...€11/ bottle. Would not hesitate to recommend this lovely restaurant. We had a table on the balcony overlooking the sea. Nothing better. XMore

The restaurant has a terrace that overlooks a harbour. The seafood is superb and service is very friendly and efficient. You may need to book, especially if you want a table with a view.

Lovely place overlooking the old little Marino of Castiglioncello. Very romantic ambience. Very good and various menu but what counts more is the quality of the food and the generous helpings. Service is excellent. Prices are moderate. Only one obstacle: book in time because it's...always fully booked.More
