We've been here just over a week and tried food in 6 of the local restaurants, and in our opinions, this was the best of them all. The decor both inside and on the terrace outside is lovely, the staff were very friendly and helpful,...there was quite a wide choice of fish and seafood on the menu, the food was absolutely wonderful, the portions were huge, it was reasonably priced, and they also served cheaper house wine - we tried both the white and red and thought they were both acceptable. It's very popular at weekends, one of a limited number of restaurants still open at this time of year, and also open on a Monday, when many others close.More

During our 2 weeks in Castiglioncello we were at the restaurant 3 times. The 3 times was actually all in our second week in the city. We didn't know about the restaurant until then. We've had a fantastic plate of cold meats and cheese in...addition to steak and tuna. Very reasonable pricing. There is no good places in the "city centre" so you need to drive / walk a few meters to eat a reasonably good meal. Like - to this place.More

Very authentic italian bistro adjacent to the village train station with tasty traditional italian dishes and good portions. Nice wine list. Not much english is spoken but that's the idea. Mostly locals and no tourists in sight anywhere. Outdoor covered atmosphere with trains whizzing by

We did not expect too much because of the location at the train station, so we were surprised to find very good food for very reasonable prices and also very good and friendly service. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the menu brings a hard...choice because of its variety. We had fish dishes which were very good. Other guests had huge steaks, which also looked very tasty. And because it´s an Enoteca you have a lot of choices for wine too. One last positive point: this restaurant is open on Monday for dinner!More

This place surprised us with a type of modern version of the Italian food. The portions a smaller than in traditional places, but food is excellent. Wine selection is very good. The staff is very helpful and attentive. I am highly recommending this place.

We are happy that we ended up at La Stazione for a couple of glasses of wine and some cold cuts (and dessert). They have a great selection of wine and very friendly staff. They are not very good at the english language, but let's...face it, my italian is worse than their english. :) If we have time before our departure we will go back for a proper meal and some more interesting wine.More

You should really avoid visiting this restaurant. Terrible Sea food, average meat. Please.... Change! PS: not to forget: Unacceptable service.
