We ate here as a family on the last night of our 2 week holiday in Italy, and were so pleased we found this small restaurant. The staff were welcoming and pleasant. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly and the food was delicious. My husband...and I enjoyed the seafood pasta dishes and fish starters. The chef even made a simple pasta dish off menu for our fussy eater children! The final bill was very reasonable too. Would highly recommend this restaurant.More

The look of the food, the combination of the ingredients will...make each time an outstanding experience from the starter to the dessert. Lucio is a great wine expert and they have a wide selection of the best Italian wines. Once you try this restaurant, it will easily become your favourite one on Earth :)More
Very friendly staff, great food, the menu varies and what’s currently good is presented on a blackboard inside the restaurant and explained by the staff. Highly recommend anything with seafood! Good wines and quite inexpensive for dinner.
We had a really good meal here this week. The meals are very imaginative, with the choice on the menu changing each week, but maybe because it is such a small kitchen, the choice is small. On the evening we went, there was a choice...of two starters and three mains. My husband isn't that keen on seafood, and can't bear the thought of eating squid and anchovies, both of which were on the menu, the night we went. Luckily he likes cauliflower cheese, a fancy version of which was the third option. We were disappointed that there was no house wine.More
We got nice, professional service and good introduction to the menu from the service staff. The food was a very positive surprise as we have visited other nearby restaurants before. Here you can find really good, brave and modern kitchen with an incredible team from...owner to talented wife leading the kitchen and their friendly and skilled staff. Il Piccinino Probably one of my favourite meals ever. I took a chance and popped in at 6 to see if they had a table because this place is small Yes a small table on pavement outside alongside which are a row of other chairs...facing out onto the road with a kind of counter where later we discovered formed another 6 covers. So if in this part of outside you would sit side by side with your dining partner. Inside were about 6 tables some for 2 and some 4/5's. We arrived at 8 for dinner. Hosted by 2 guys with 2 female chefs in a kitchen visible from the restaurant. Host came out and with good English explained the 7 items on the menu 5 mains and2 desserts. We decided to share a cod sandwich yes pieces of cod with honey vinegar and mayonnaise lovely in a crusty roll. Then we shared rigatone pasta with a mackerel type fish puréed canellini beans tomatoes olives delicious and for main we went for the vegetarian option of sliced potatoes green beans sun dried toms soft melting cheese awesome. We had 1 of each of the desserts one was a like a cheesecake mix with a snap type biscuit and hazel nuts with port soaked grapes and the other was a row of chocolate balls with nuts on yoghurt and orange marmalade . Bottle of red total of 63 euros. Really very very good fantastic in fact, innovative and very original flavoursome. I have eaten in a lot of places around the world and this is right up there. The head chef is local a 35 year old mother of 3 from the area. You must book as many were turned away.More
Had a lovely meal here early Sept on a trip to Castiglioncello. Lovely fresh food, delicious and great service. No menu or prices but the waiter had very good English and he told us about all the different dishes and prices, would definitely eat here...again. Very friendly service, and no cover charge!More
very nice menu, change every day, nice atmosfere; all the dishes are coocking at the moment. Fresh vegetable taste. Is a simple place, in the summer always sold out. book in time!
