We took a trip to Accra beach and stumbled upon Joan and Oasis Beach Bar while hunting for some lunch. Both of us ordered fish cakes and we had fries on the side. Fish cakes were delicious, well cooked and not oily. Joan herself was...warm, friendly and welcoming. While we were there we met several couples who have been coming for years who all raved about Joan, her food and her punch which we felt told it's own amazing story. We did not sample the rum punch (sore heads from the previous night) but did each have smoothies which were delicious and refreshing and just what we needed.More

Had read good reviews, however found lady very off hand - could be bothered stopping chatting to her friend and eventually seemed miffed that we hadn't ordered more food.

what a variety of restaurants with all different fish served, amazing ambiance while strolling through the grounds, the smell of the all the different foods cooking are a cornucopia of chicken pork and so many different species of fish your nose will explode, highly recommend...you visit here once if you are here, also the street vendors have a very large selection of cloths jewelry and carvings, pretty much all one could ask for, and the prices are so reasonable its easy on the pocketbookMore

Joan, the owner and operator of this gem on the beach is friendly, knowledgeable, and a great cook. Her fresh fish cakes from an old family recipe are without compare. Join that with her amazing rum punch, her sunny smile, and the warm ocean breeze...and you truly have a piece of paradise.More

Seems to be only during sunshine hours but we'll worth a visit. The fishcakes and the rum punch are really too tasty..
