Free pick up and return from Mullins beach attracted us initially and we visited twice.Mango and ginger marinated ribs excellent followed by well cooked swordfish, very generous portion and panfried duckbreasts were thoroughly enjoyed. Unfortunately there was a very long wait for each course. However we returned and enjoyed Spicy flying fish paté, Chicken wrapped in bacon with herbs and... More

RESTAURANT'S FAVOURITE REVIEW
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 February 2017

We just happened to pop along and enquire if we could be accommodated for dinner. We were met by a very friendly owner and equally pleasant staff and seated in a spectacular position overlooking the beach with the waves gently breaking below, My wife had lobster which consisted of a whole tail, not the half normally dished out in more... Located right on the the beach a party of four had mains and deserts for around $420 barbados. The food was fantastic, the staff all warm and welcoming with a lovely atmosphere. Here in Barbados the prices were reasonable Fish main $55, Steak $105 but well worth the expense all four of us enjoyed our meals. Definately a place to... More

Small quiet beech with no rocks to make you look silly as you get into/out of the sea Complimentary loungers, proper cold beer, friendly staff and great food. A great alternative to Mullins or Santi or Bombas

Generally a very enjoyable evening at Jumas. We took advantage of the rediscovery menu and the included taxi to and from Holetown. The menu was varied and the food good quality. Not the cheapest of places but ok for us on a special occasion.

My husband and I come to Barbados frequently and always make sure we visit our favourite restaurant Jumas. We are here for ten nights and will probably eat here most of the time. My meal was a starter of pumpkin soup, very tasty, followed by red snapper blackened, with fresh veg and chips. The taste was awesome. I have never... More

we always go to Jumas when we are in Barbados but we were a little disappointed this time. Our fish was tough and seem over-cooked. I had a curry dish and it was underwhelming. We felt that there was no value for the money. We will probably give it a miss next year. If you do go, the atmosphere is... More

A delicious and well presented lunch in an idealistic setting over looking the Caribbean, what could be better! Relaxing after our meal in the lounge chairs on the beach was a bonus. We tried barracuda for the first time, would definitely have again, also roti for the first time. Would recommend...relax and enjoy.

Juma's restaurant is perfectly situated in central Speightstown and can be accessed from either the road or, most impressively, from the sea. For those wishing to take a long leisurely lunch as well as dining complimentary sunchairs and showers are offered, their aim being to provide a super dining experience in a relaxing environment. The menu is ecclectic, a mix of... More
