We felt totally welcomed and relaxed in this lovwly, cozy restaurant. The service is second to none. The owner (we think) made our evening so lovely - he chatted to us on a personable level as well as giving us space to eat. The timings of bring out dishes and drinks was perfect. The food that we had was super delicious and the portions are very generous for tapas. The croquettes were incredible.. as was the deep fried brie, chorizo in cider, calamari, garlic prawns.. lemon sorbet and honey comb cheesecake!! We will certainly be back without a doubt and I will be recommending this place to everyone. Thank you for a perfect, chilled evening and exactly what we wanted from a anniversary dinner.

For such an unassuming little place, the food is shockingly good - it is by far the best food I've had in Burgess Hill and the best tapas for miles.
I have been several times with a variety of people and it has always been a lovely experience.
The food is very reasonably priced and the staff are attentive - massive hats off to them as a small business for keeping the standards so high throughout a very difficult period for the industry!

After hearing a lot about this place we finally visited and it did not disappoint.
Came in on a Friday night to be greeted by the owners. So much good stuff on the menu it is so hard to choose and everything that passed us looked delicious.
Settled on 6 dishes between two of us ranging from calamari (best I've had not on the med, almost melted in the mouth) to mushrooms with pancetta and cheese and some chorizo in red wine sauce.
Even ordered some cheesecake, my partner asked for another spoon as it was her birthday and was told you should have dessert if it is your birthday!
Anyway when her ice cream appeared a candle was lit, the lights went down and this packed little restaurant all sung (to her slight embarrassment).
As we were about to leave, she was handed a bottle of prosecc too! Can't wait to return for some more incredible tapas.

We ate at Plaza Uno last night with friends who have recently moved to Burgess Hill. It’s safe to say they’re very lucky to have it on their doorstep. What a fantastic restaurant.
It may not look a lot from the outside but it’s as authentic as it comes inside - from the food through to the service from the lovely female owner and her Spanish family. Every dish was perfectly prepared, generous and absolutely delicious. We enjoyed 21 plates between the five of us, and there wasn’t a single plate we wouldn’t order again. The highlight was the langostino with chilli and garlic, but lots of other plates came close.
For under £50 per head including drinks, it was fantastic value for money. We can’t wait for another visit when we’re next in Burgess Hill!

With an impromptu dinner this evening I was already quite excited when the name of this restaurant was mentioned, having not been here since before lockdown we were well overdue a visit.
From the moment you arrive you are made to feel welcome, almost as If they are inviting you into their own home, there’s such a relaxed and laid back atmosphere here.
As described it is a tapas restaurant and I really like the idea of somewhere like this, we all ordered a couple of dishes each and it really gets everyone round the table talking and excited about the amazing dishes that arrived at our table.
There’s something for every palate, fish, meat, vegetable and a nice selection of wines and soft drinks for the designated driver!
All of the food we had was nothing short of excellent honestly the service and food is faultless, and everyone had a great evening and throughly enjoyed the food.
Even for the tightest of people like myself I felt obliged to leave a tip! To conclude, would I return yes 100% and would I recommend absolutely. What a great little restaurant and there’s a clear reason why it was so busy on a Thursday night!
My only regret is leaving it so long since our last visit, can’t wait to come back again soon!!

We were staying for one night in Burgess Hill and found this restaurant through trip advisor. Luckily we got a table for Friday night because the football was on at the same time! The lady who welcomed us was very friendly (i'm assuming she is the owner) We ordered quite a lot of food (portions were bigger than expected so we left a little bit) stand out dishes were calamari, patatas bravas (husband said best PB he's ever had!) baked cod and a chorizo special which had the most incredible sauce. My daughter (fussy eater) really enjoyed it too. If we are ever in the area, we will definitely come again.

Very busy and popular restaurant.
The food is extremely tasty and very generous portions.
Wine list is okay with a couple of nice reds on the menu.
My wife and I had a selection of fish and meat dishes that were all tasty.
Worth a visit, however, I recommend that you ask for a table by the window or by the bar, the noise levels can be overwhelming in the middle.

We tried this Tapas restaurant on Saturday and we were so glad we did! They have a very varied menu so its easy to find dishes you like. Every dish we had was absolutely delicious and served by friendly staff. We definitely intend to make a return visit and would thoroughly recommend this little gem of a restaurant!!

Very nice restaurant, you’re met by the owner who is a delight, very relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant was packed but that’s not surprising because the food is fantastic. Lots of choices of different tapas. The food is reasonably priced but well worth a visit. I’d definitely recommend it. We booked a Saturday night and it was busy, is recommended to book in advance.

A great little family run Spanish tapas restaurant in Burgess Hill. Very buzzy, service was quick, efficient and friendly. We ordered a number of dishes that were brought in a timely manner, were piping hot and delicious. We had plenty of drinks, one sweet and coffees all for a very reasonable price. Cannot fault the place.

We all love tapas and there's so much to choose from on the menu ! We particularly enjoyed the mussels, prawns and the chicken kebabs.
As always theres a warm welcome, great atmosphere and good advice about menu choices.
We can't recommend this restaurant enough so definitely book a table !

This is a simple place, but the food was excellent and well priced for tapas. As others have noted the service is friendly - although the small staff were kept busy because the place was largely full even on a weeknight. Word has clearly got round - and deservedly so.

It could have been a lovely experience if it wasn’t for the owner being a bit weird. Went with friends and asked what I could eat that was vegan. There were a few choices I could have, which I was perfectly happy with and ordered one… but the owner didn’t just leave me to enjoy my food with my friends. He made me feel quite uncomfortable and awkward by saying something like “that’s all you all you get for being vegan” and basically questioning me to on my lifestyle in front of my friends. It’s not nice to be questioned like that when you just came out wanting to have a nice time.

Visited today 16th Jan for my daughter's birthday. Chose the restaurant partly because of the good reviews. Pleased to say they aren't wrong. Freshly cooked tasty food, not expensive (2 dishes each suffices), friendly staff,house rioja very good, great atmosphere - not fussy at all. A definite find. Highly recommended. Will return in the not too distant future

Amazing restaurant. Always excited to bring new people here. The food is authentically spanish, absolutely delicious and high quality. The staff are incredibly welcoming. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.
