Very enjoyable carvery...meat portion size very generous. Toffee crunch pie for dessert was delicious with whippy ice cream. Only drawback is some of the tables are a bit close together making it a bit cramped so suggest you pick your table carefully especially if you are not a Twiggy. Will definitely be visiting again

The Dutchman has a well deserved reputation for good quality food at reasonable prices and this visit was up to their usual standard. Pleasant staff offering good service always leaves a good impression. The only slight negative is their system for keeping a tab...I was asked if I wanted to keep a running bill and initially I agreed. However the... More

TripAdvisor is open to everyone to leave good or bad reviews and it helps us learn from our mistakes. If it's a bad one we take it on the chin and put it right and always apologise but it also confuses me because I have to wonder why you wouldn't have left nice reviews on your first visits? That would... More

Having visited with some business colleagues I can safely say that the welcome was friendly, service polite and courteous. We had a mixture of meals; food from the Carvery, and fish and chips. I had the Gammon and Turkey and it was simply wonderful. Rarely have I visited a place where the roast tatties were every bit as good as... More
