While staying at the hotel across the street we pleasantly found this gem of a restaurant. We can't say enough good things about it: excellent food, great wait staff (especially Abdul, a fantastic waiter!) We had the pleasure of getting to know the owner, Alfonzo, who could not have been more welcoming. We had a 12 day vacation encompassing Venice,... More

Went for dinner here on our first night in Colle di val d'Elsa purely because it was opposite our hotel and after a long days travelling we didn't have the energy to go much further. We were very glad we did go because the food was brilliant, the atmosphere was great, we were the first people in, unintentionally turning up... More

Hidden away above a line of shops you could easily miss it, fortunately we didn't and had two superb meals during our stay for extremely reasonable prices. Charming staff and very popular with local families. The home produced pasta was superb, pizzas good and the large entrecote steak in chianti sauce outstanding. Didn't try the seafood, but it was obviously... More

Very good food in a cozy covered patio with Italian ambiance. Excellent friendly service. Very tasty fish and shellfish. Nice wine and to finish a delicious limoncello.

Not one bad thing about this place!! Great prices: 1 kilo of mussels for 7€, pizza for 6€, house chianti for 10€, the list goes on. We averaged 110€ for 6 people including 2 bottles of wine each night. Great service: Alfonso, our waiter 3 nights, and everyone was amazing! He remembered our weird allergies and our favorites each night!... More

To be honest you might well pass this place by as it is on the first floor above a small shopping precinct and noisy local bar but the extensive restaurant with a big terrace was packed with locals with some tourists and a real find and recommended by our hotel too. Busy on a Saturday evening the staff were friendly... More

The owners of the agriturismo where we stayed in Staggia recommended this place so we gave it a try. It's in a little "strip mall" area but had nice outdoor seating (until it started raining on us). It is definitely popular with locals. We had 3 seafood dishes and only one was very good. We never received bread. The lobster... More

Very nice restaurant where the local people eat. You are in the mid of an Italian family. The food is good but the service is very slow and you need to get the attention of the waitresses.

everything on the menu looks good - we ate there three times because we liked it so much. Great pastas and wonderful pizzas, the staff is awesome.
