Lovely family pub, very friendly staff, great food and a wam atmosphere, we have stopped here a few times now when passing and never fails to impress!

Stopped by chance at the Giants rest so didn't know what to expect. We were greeted by the bar maid and noticed there was only one other couple there however it was not table service which I think was a big naff given she wasn't...More

We loved the Camembert sharing platter. The puds were clearly homemade and totally delicious. We had to wait for approximately 30 minutes but it was well worth it. Second time we have visited this year. Staff friendly and welcoming.

We booked lunch at the Giants Rest on the 15/10/17 What a treat.I had the roast beef my mum had the lamb roast . It was cooked to perfection highly recommend this little gem

Yes they are , there were a couple of dogs around the bar when we visited, kid friendly too and they did not mind the grown ups either , definitely worth a visit.
