After being closed during Natasha's illness and eventual passing her husband Lupe has re-opened with the help of family. Same great food and service. Dinners Tuesday and Friday- breakfast on the weekend. Large Canadian crowd and a good place to renew old friendships.

We loved this little place. Very quaint, cute little extras like lights in the outside garden that provided atmosphere when it got dark. A little out of the way but we felt very safe in the neighbourhood. Food was great..service was excellent. Hosts friendly came around checking on everyone. Definitely would recommend.

After reading the reviews we made a special trip out from Mérida and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious along with fresh squeezed orange juice and endless coffee. The portion sizes are huge so you won't be needing lunch, We will definitely go back one for breakfast and two to try the Friday night fish and chips we've... More

We've been coming here for many years, mostly for breakfast. Natasha, the owner, does all the cooking, waitressing, and really makes you feel at home. It is a nice garden setting, indoors with screens. I love the Chaya omelettes (Chaya is similar to spinach) and my husband the eggs motulenas. Prices are very reasonable.

Have been wintering in the area 13 years. Discovered this place 5 or 6 years ago. Excellent food. Fish & chip night or Sunday breakfast is great. Owners are pleasant and the place is clean, quaint and has internet access for use and book exchange from Snow birds. What more could we ask for! looking forward to being their soon.

This little place reminds me of one if my aunts houses in San Antonio, except with a friendly staff. They were nice and the food quality was great. We had a mix of dishes, and a few did not work well, but 8 out of 10 do. We had a little wait getting our food because the place got busy,... More

We have been going to Natasha's, as the local Snowbirds call this place, for years. Natasha and Lupe are only open for dinner on Fridays and Tuesdays and daily for breakfast. I love the fresh fish and you never know what the catch of the day is until you get there. The fish is delicious and the shrimps a to... More

We were lucky enough to have our rental agent, MariaJose, take us to Cafe Pantaleon and we are thankful she did! Great breakfasts, incredible fresh squeezed orange juice, great coffee & meeting so many great people! It was a new crowd everytime and all of them fantastic just like Natasha's food! And should you need a book to read in... More

The neighborhood in which you find Cafe Panteleon is safe, clean and certainly nothing "to be afraid of". Years ago one could not the cross the street after a rain as there was a lake there so now the road is paved. As in most neighborhoods some houses are not occupied and have seen better times as people move, live,... More

This restaurant serves authentic Yucatan food. The owner/operator/chef is American and the clientelle is mostly North Americans. Coffee is made with bottled water, so don't be afraid do drink it. The breakfast menu is super. I chose the Huevos Moltulefios: 2 fried eggs on a bed of black beans and tostados topped with salsa and crumbled cheese. All breakfasts, 8... More
