Delicious as always. We enjoyed Picklefest during this visit. The Taste of The Ukraine has the absolute best deep fried pickles we’ve ever eaten. Service was wonderful, this is my husband’s favourite restaurant. :)

With the issues of COVID it was nice to be allowed to visit the Taste Of Ukraine for a sit down meal. The food was super, and the staff were very attentive. It is worth going to help out our restaurants that desperately need our...visits.More

Worth to add to your COVID take-out list. Did curbside pick-up for dinner for three. The Cherry Ribs plate was 'fall-off-the-bone" delicious. It was great that the cherry sauce comes on the side so you can add as much as you want on your plate....The rest of my party had Kyiv Chicken plates which they said were scrumptious. The Ukrainian sides of perogies, cabbage rolls, and a kind of cheese blintz were very tasty. Service was quick and COVID protocols were much in evidence. Prices for the amount of meat you get on a plate is very good value.More

Ordered take out and when I went to pick it up 2 of the staff were wearing partial see through masks that didn’t fully cover their noses. I did not feel safe at all and was glad that I was taking my meal to go....The food was ok. Very pricey for the amount you get. The restaurant looked very lovely inside and had a great atmosphere.More

We enjoyed a beautiful meal. Everything was so delicious. Their Borscht is top notch, their perogies, so yummy, especially the mushroom appetizer ones, and as usual every dish was so filling! I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone whom likes Ukrainian food. It's an atmosphere...to experience! This small business deserves a big applause! We have eaten here many times and will definitely be going back.More

Circumstances were such ,we had to bring our Christmas meal home, instead of eating at the restaurant. I thought we were going to have a wonderful meal, and sadly, especially for the amount we paid, we just found it very mediocre. The Kutya had a...strange taste, as did the mushroom gravy. The beans were non existent , so I didn't look for the garlic, which is a dish we love.. The portions were very small and a couple of things were missing( poppy seed rolls, beet vinaigrette ),it could of just been very busy I suppose. We don't live very far, and the containers to bring it home in, well it was very cold.Sadly we won't be going here again, we had hoped to make this a place to eat every Ukrainian Christmas, it won't be.More

Great place, good times, good food. It was nice to try something new. My kids are in Ukraine Dance, so me and the wife decided to check out a Ukraine style dinner. Very happy.

My wife, son and I had dinner last night and what a feast. Firstly, Ukrainian Lager beer is very good. Try it. We started with a couple of appetizers. Crispy delicious, crunchy dill pickles and mushroom ushka(tiny, bite-sized varenyky pyrohy filled with minced mushrooms, topped...with bacon and onion). Wow....so silky smooth and fresh. Mushrooms were yummy. Main course my wife had the chicken Kyiv(delicate chicken breast coated in bread crumbs, then deep fried to seal in the seasoned herb butter surprise inside) Superb. My son and I both had the odessa prawns. With each entrée we chose two sndes, Naturally perogies and nalysnyki. Best I've ever had.We all split the Chocolate Nalysnyk for desert. Honestly I was a bit concerned about the food being too heavy but it wasn't. Our portions were generous and we ate everything. We all walked away feeling very good. I also loved the authentic charm of the place and the service was a 10 out of 10. Definitely come back.More
