We went on a night with live music and a full moon. Pretty view and solid food. Portions were large and it's not far from the main port

My wife and I ate here on our visit. We informed them that we were both vegetarians, and this was not a problem for them. They prepared us both a five course meal. Salad included pan seared tofu with goat cheese. Other dishes were prepared without meat for us and were all very good. Finished it off with some great... More

They provided a pick up from our hotel The Pearl. The food was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the live music was wonderful! It was the most romantic spot for dinner on this island. We truly enjoyed it, and would go back again! My husband had the Mahi-Mahi with vanilla sauce, and I had a grilled salmon with virgin... More

Mahi sandwich was fair, good French fries, drinks were good, we would try it again. A bit overpriced, but that's French Polynesia, and I still love it Service at happy hour was bad, but the waitress forgot us...not intensional, and we didn't die of thirst. Happy hour is 5-6 pm, 2 drinks for the price of one!

As part of our vacation package, we were offered a meal here. Even though it was a "set" meal, it was fantastic and delicious and beautifully presented. I would say this is a definite must while on Bora Bora.

We can not say enough about Maikai. Most importantly the proprietors are truly world class people. We arrived by sail and they took us in like family. Short and simple, we owe them a deep debt of gratitude for the way that they took care of us during our time there.

We visited Mai Kai as an "included" dinner from our travel agent. Honestly, we didn't have real high expectations. However, we had a very good meal. It was a set menu for our voucher. Appetizers were tuna carpaccio that was absolutely delicious. Salad was next and very fresh/tasty. We were each given 2 smaller plates for dinner. First, grilled tuna... More

We moored off the restaurant while sailing the area and went there for dinner. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. Prices were expensive but no more than other equivalent places in the area. It is worth a visit.

We came to Mai Kai for dinner one night during our honeymoon. Our hotel set up a complementary taxi to Mai Kai. We were seated next to the window. We ordered the ribeye and the salmon both were delicious dishes! Service was great for our table accept towards the end where I think they forgot about us but they were... More

We were initially seated at a nice table outside. The staff then decided they had to move us inside to a crappy table because someone else came for the outside table. So, we were off to a bad start. The food is standard as is the service but they attempt to give off this snooty fancy vibe. This restaurant is... More
