Popped in for a late lunch, and was told right away they can't serve alcohol. I didn't care I only wanted food but thought that was extremely odd for a Brewery. Turns out they applied for their renewal liquor license in February and there's a...back log...or at least that's the story they were telling. Service was ok, food was good, the patio was a good size and the view was not bad - it overlooks the marina.More

Didn’t eat here but food looked good. I got their flight of beer and it was very good. They have 5 different beers and you get that on your flight!

Went there for supper, and had the day's special (pasta and chicken) and nothing else. Costed over 50$ for 2. Food was not very hot, and on the greasy side. Try somewhere else.

We paid for parking and waited 40 min in a hot sun. There were tables open on the patio and the staff only intermittently let people in. When we got to the front of the line the staff member said “I don’t know if I...mentioned but we aren’t selling alcohol because our liquor license expired” And here we are thinking - you’re a BREWERY! Honestly- it was just the neglect of the line and attention to customer service…… I would never eat here after that.More

At here with a group- could not sit together but was told we would be charged a group which we envantually resolved with a more senior member of staff. The service was very chaotic, orders were lost and the staff in the open kitchen did...not seem very well organised or concerned about waiting customers. Some staff were trying but overall the poor organisation and what appeared management effected the quality and experience.More

Mid afternoon my spouse and I were checking out possible restaurants for supper. We entered the restaurant after a staff member from another restaurant, who asked a staff member for some assistance. We proceeded into bar area where we were ignored by two staff members....So after waiting about 5 minutes we left bar area. When exiting down stairs we were met by returning staff member who asked how was it. We replied that as we had been ignored we were leaving. He then became verbally abusive accusing us of not getting staff attention which confirmed that we would never go there again. Then we proceeded to another restaurant where we were pleasantly greeting at door.More

A disappointing lunch. Usually a Brewing company has more than one beer available! More than half the menu was not available, so I ordered the chicken wings, medium sauce. They came with no sauce and looked and tasted as if they’d been deep fried several...times, I couldn’t even finish them. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich and it apparently was good, hence the 3 star rating. The service were good but the food was dismal. Try somewhere else - no good views either.More

We enjoyed a drink and dinner on the covered porch. It doesn't have a clear view of the marina and waterfront but it is close enough to the lively street activity and more-or-less faces the sunset. Ahi poke nachos were devoured by my wife who...rarely completes her whole entree, and I enjoyed seafood linguine with perfect PEI mussels as well as sea scallops, good-sized shrimp, and calamari. I only tried one of their beers, a blonde, and it was satisfying but didn't blow me away. For a local waterfront joint frankly catering to summer people, we think it's great!More

Very Poor Service. On the Monday evening (slow), it took almost 1:30 hr to NOT get appetizers (nachos) and finally had to cancel. To make it worse, even the manager gave us a questionable excuse. Their chef was injured, they said. But what explain loooong...time taken to get us two samples of beers? They another loooong time to get actual beers. And the appetizers never came after 1:30 Hr. People around us (with different servers) were getting their their stuff much more promptly!!! Fine, your server is not the best but why did the manager (semi-)misrepresent the reason?More

We recently had family visit and took them to TBC. The new menu gave everyone a chance to try something different and they were all amazing. The service was great. We will keep coming back.

A very pleasant location with great views especially to watch the sunset. There was some confusion with our order which I would describe as more our fault than the server. In identifying the issue our server was charming and resolved the matter in an instant....Our second meal arrived and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I really recommend this establishment for the quality of their food, the excellent craft beers and most of all their professional staff. Our server was Troy and he’s a hero.More

This is the 2nd time we have been to the TBC in the last month. Both times the same manager was working (a young man). Both times he asked for our vaccine passport while not wearing a mask in the restaurant right in front of...us about 2 feet away. If it happens again we will be contacting the health unit as its law for him to be wearing a mask. The current rules are not hard to follow and are required even if he “doesn’t like wearing a mask” as he stated to us when asked why he was’t wearing a mask.More

Went here for fish and chips and the service was very slow. Went to ask server for drink refills and all of the staff were standing around laughing and playing on their phones. Our table ordered the fish and chips and there was barely any...fish to be seen. It was two pieces of frozen, deep fried, squares of batter. We had guests at our cottage a few days later and decided to give the brewery one more try before ruling it out. When we went to the door to ask for a table at 5:30pm, the manager came out and said he had no tables open but even once he does, he won’t seat us because he would like the space to prepare for dinner? It was already 5:30pm. We told him we just wanted a pitcher of beer and he said no that he still would prefer to have the space. As a result, we took our table of six to the Princess Hotel up the street and gave them our easy $200. The service and food were awesome!More

You apparently didn't fit their target audience of rich male yacht owner. For a pub that employs a female brewer and almost all young female staff, I'm very surprised at the number of people I've talked to that say that... More
