A simple, budget, family-run accommodation at the old town area. The young owner was very friendly and helpful. N's kitchen served delicious food. If you want a good yak burger in old town this is it! I also recommend the peanut butter banana milkshake. It takes some time to be made but the wait was worth it !

An American couple we got chatting to in Tiger Leaping Gorge recommended N's and raved about their burgers. Who am I to question American's when it comes to burgers so we thought we would give it a bash. My word they where amazing!!! Great food, cheap beer, reasonable price I highly recommend.

The 'build your own breakfast' is very good. Eggs, bacon, baked beans, fantastic toasted home-made whole wheat bread, tomato, hash brown, mushrooms, etc. It's a little pricey, though - more than 40 yuan if you have the full mashings, but was definitely worth it. Pizza is good, but on and ultra thin base. Real cheese. The menu is limited -... More

The staff at N's Kitchen were great. Pleasant, helpful, and caring. We stayed here for 2 nights. The rooms are nothing special but for 80rmb for 2 ppl, what is one to expect. The food was awesome!!! The place gives a feeling that they are here to help travelers rather than make money. A genuine friendly feeling in this place.... More

A lovely location, just off one of the main streets. It has an indoor restaurant as well as an outdoors sections. Great Yak burgers and Yak meatball sandwich!

Good internet with computer. Delicious hot chocolate with mashmalow in it and good almond pie. The atmosphere is not amazing thought and I would recommend to eat somewhere else as it seems overpriced.

A chance meeting with an Australian connoisseur of the 'amber nectar' in Tiger Leaping gorge led us to N's Kitchen . for the westerner traveling in Yunnan province this is like home after two weeks of noodles ! Lao Beer , wonderful pizza and very good burgers were consumed with gusto ! Service was great , prices OKish but worth... More
