This restaurant is just superb - it truly is one of the best you'll ever eat in - from the amuse-bouche served at the beginning to the petit-fours with coffee, everything is gorgeous. The service is outstanding thanks to Francesco and his team who manage to anticipate your needs. The sommelier recommends great wines to go with your food choices.... More

My daughter booked this restaurant for lunch during our driving tour of Tuscany. It was an exceptional meal with great ambiance, food and service. The arched brick ceilings are impressive. Each dish was delicious and completed by the fantastic dessert tray. It was well deserving of its Michelin rating. One of the best meals on our trip to Italy.

A great experience and the highlight of our visit to Tuscany. Our travel agent Brownell Travel booked us a tour and lunch here. It was an awesome experience. We learned about the grapes. We actually saw them still on the vine. We took the tour of the winery and it was very interesting. When we went in to eat, we... More

Osteria is located next to an Abbey, that dates back to the 400's AD, and in the middle of vineyards. The drive to the restaurant, particularly the last 700/800 metres, is beautiful. There is no view to be had whilst dining in the restaurant however since our visit last year they had undertaken major renovations that reshaped the dining space,... More

We visited this restaurant for a second time after 2008. It was for us a must as we had a great memory and always in our mind when talking about Tuscany. The food was again exceptional but what makes a restaurant deserve a Michelin star is not just the food but a combination of service, ambience and friendliness. Eventhough the... More

Very good food. Relaxing dinner. Great ambience. Server started out attentive but as the evening grew busy, he became nonexistent. Definitely not as interested in our table as in others. But we enjoyed ourselves and the delicious food.

The Osteria is next to a medieval abbey, where they have cellars for the wine. A great tour of the vineyard and the cellar followed by an exquisite lunch paired with Anitori wines. Started with olive oil tasting - even that pair with a wonderful wine. Fabulous food, fabulous wine, fabulous setting. Hard to think of a better afternoon.

My second visit after a few years - and I was not disappointed because this is a marvellous place for a delicious meal. The ambience is delightful with high arched brick ceilings and the staff are absolutely superb. The tables are well spaced out so you are not in any way crowded. This Osteria is attached to a very good... More

The food, service, decor, and welcome are what you would expect from a 1 Michelin star restaurant. Everything is first cabin, while not overly fussy and formal. We enjoyed a fabulous meal of white truffle specials. Of course there were the delicious amuse bouches before and the mignardises following the meal. The setting is spectacular with an old grape press... More

We had done some sight seeing in Greve, stopped at Antico Monastero, and done some wonderful Italian shopping before we came across Osteria di Passignano. We literally stumbled upon this remote restaurant and had no idea what we were getting into. When we walked in, a gentleman was in the front area and we had to ask him (versus him... More
