Stayed in Rustrel for a week, met the famous baker Benjamin Jouval at Boulangerie au Pierrot D'Antan This became our daily morning stop before heading to the various Provence markets. I've never tasted almond croissant as good as these. This is a must stop if you're anywhere near Apt, Rustrel, Lourmarin or Roussilon. Sensational!!!

We had a good time at this boulangerie, the food was good and tasty, all fresh and the prices were ok! Try the Banon cheese, very delicious!!

My fault, not theirs. After a walk in the Colorado Provençal, we headed to Rustrel to find somewhere for a late lunch and settled on 'Au Pierrot D'Antan'. My daughter had tagliatelle, my wife a salad and I had steak and chips. I didn't exactly realise that's what I ordered by, sadly, my French is that bad. Regardless, it was... More

I have eaten the wonderful bread made by this bakery for many years. This year the location has changed and it is now part of the cafe that is on the Route d'Apt, it appears that the oven is no longer wood fired, and the Fougasse which was a long elegant flat loaf is now more circular. The staff are... More

People come from all around to buy their bread in this small village bakery. They are open every day except Thursday in the morning and again in the late afternoon. They do some picnic-type food which you can buy to eat at the tables in the garden, but they are not actually a restaurant. Great for hikers and cyclists. The... More

I stayed in Rustrel for 2 weeks with 4 friends and most mornings one of us would go to the Boulangerie. One morning out walking, I spied some delicous cakey/pastries with fresh apricots. By the time I raced home (3 minutes away) and got some money, the apricot delicacies had been sold. Damn! We enjoyed many delicious loaves of bread,... More

Great boulangerie nestled in the small Vaucluse town of Rustrel, near the Colorado Provencal. Croissants are to die for. Cute little picnic area for eating sandwiches after your hike. Worth a visit if you're in town!
