Lovely service, food and atmosphere. Exquisite lion fish and lovely presented meal. Even the pudding was delicious and great atmosphere with discrete live band

RESTAURANT'S FAVOURITE REVIEW
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 September 2016 via mobile

We spent our last evening in St Lucia at Rainforest Hideaway for dinner. It was hard to leave! It was the most romantic and incredible dining experience we have ever had. The food just doesn't compare to anything we have had previously in the Carribbean. During our meal we said multiple times it was the best meal we have ever... More

Dear JonathanCalypso Thanks for coming to dine at Rainforest and for your great review - and making the point that in your view we deliver value for money. Several recent reviews suggest that we are expensive - but reality is that we reduced our prices last year and are less expensive than we were five years ago..! It is the... More

If you are thinking of going here - you should. Book ahead too and ask to sit waterfront - also it is a free 1 minute mini ferry ride [make sure you get the right little ferry]. Over the years we have eaten at Rainforst quite a few times. Location and 'feel' of this restaurant is simply exceptional - romantic... More

Dear BathBunnMan Many thanks for your thoughtful review of Rainforest and the changes we have made. Yes, we have reduced prices to make Rainforest more accessible to the local market but also recognising that most tourists have become more price sensitive over the past few years. We tried for many years to deliver a true fine dining restaurant based on... More

First class, excellent food. This is a must do in Marigot Bay. Everything we tried, on the menu, was excellent. The loinfish was a must do!

Dear NhWB Thanks for your very positive review of dining at Rainforest. I think we are still the only restaurant in St Lucia serving lionfish as a daily menu item and it has proved our best selling dish with huge environmental benefits. People tell me that they rarely see them when snorkelling near Marigot - which is because we are... More

We chose Valentine's Day at Rainforest Hideaway for our special dinner of the week. Our table was not ready until 30 minutes past our reservation time. The live music was very nice, but ended before our meal was over. The food was good, but not spectacular. The serving sizes were small, though adequate for a 3-course meal. The price was... More

Dear doug_03053 Sorry Valentines dinner did not live up to your expectations - and for the delay in seating. As you know we were fully booked that night and even though we space out the reservations, we cannot stop people lingering when they are enjoying the ambiance and music. As you can see from the other reviews of Valentines night... More

What a location! Just across from Capella Resort and only accessible by boat - absolutely stunning. My husband and I are not really the "let's go out for dinner on Valentines Day" types - however, we decided to make an exception for the Rainforest Hideaway and had a really lovely dinner. We both tried the Lionfish and enjoyed this in... More

We opted for the 3 course meal: appetizer or salad, main course and desert. Each course had multiple selections. The food was excellent and we felt priced reasonably. The overall atmosphere was romantic and lush. Our server was courteous and attentive without being overbearing. We would highly recommend the Rainforest Hideaway.

Went here for Valentine's Day. Although it is on the pricey side it was well worth it for a special occasion. The food was excellent and the service just as good. If you are a budget conscious traveler but looking for something special to splurge on you won't be disappointed.

Dear Rudy G Thanks for your well-balanced review. The experience we deliver is not cheap to provide but the challenge is to give value for money - which appears to have been achieved in your case. John Verity Owner - Rainforest Hideaway More
