We often drive here from Toronto to pick up some great deli products, meats, baked goods and produce. Today was a bit of a disappointment. Not a lot of selection in the cold cut and cheese area, or baked goods. We planned to take out lunch, too, but they only had three available items as their oven was down, which happens, so still giving it 4 stars.

My rating is based on my shopping experience.
My husband and I stopped in to pick up a coffee and were pleasantly surprised to see a good selection of grocery items. Fresh local corn on the cob and vegetables, diary, baked goods, frozen meals and of course a selection of meats.
The kitchen is being renovated so no made to order meals were available. Staff were friendly and answered all our questions willingly.
If you are looking for quality rather than a bargain visit Heatherlea Farm Shoppe.

We often make this a destination for a drive in the country. Today we had a great lunch...a grilled cheese, and a Rueben, both great. Then we shop for dinner in their store. Knowledgeable butchers, great fresh produce, meats and cheeses.

I have been dying to try out Heatherlea Farm Shop since moving to the area.
I invited my friend
that I haven’t seen in a while so I could treat her for lunch.
A lot of people have been raving about the Reuben sandwich, so I decided to try it today. It was just OK, I have had better at many other delis.. I thought it was
a little too salty, so I kept half of it to give to hubby when I got home.
I also ordered a vanilla latte that was way too sweet. Had I known ahead of time I would’ve ordered it without sugar.
My friend had the burger with cheese and bacon and an order of small fries. She said the burger was just OK, but the fries were good.
The store seemed nice With the fresh organic meats and the interesting packaged or bottled foods.
Heatherlea was quite a drive from where I live in Caledon. Not sure if I would go back.

I ordered sandwiche and looked accidentally in the small kitchen: 4 people were taking loudly and preparing food without gloves and masks.

The atmosphere, the smells, the staff, the presentation, the taste...this is the ideal place to purchase our meat products and have a meal. I had a tasty (and picture perfect) gingerbread latte and the peameal bacon sandwich. This is new Caledon spot with so much yes.
I’ll be back many times, definitely.

Hot coffee, lots of bacon and hash browns. Great service and a nice hot meal after the kids hockey! The side strawberries are a nice touch!

We live in Toronto and do the occasional day in the country. When we do, we often land here for amazing food to eat here, and amazing food to take home to cook! They have a lovely assortment of fresh farm produce, cheese, meats and more. Staff are amazing!

We've had been coming to Heatherlea for years and have always loved it but I have found especially in the last year to be way too expensive. Oh, I realize so much work goes into it "hard work, dedication, care, and skill that goes into running our farm and raising our meat. Just a handful of people help raise our Angus herd and chicken flock from birth, grow the grass and grain we use to feed them, process them locally, and butcher and dry-age the meat by hand", but isn't that to be expected? Why should the prices be so high for everything, making it pretty much impossible for the average middle class person to enjoy the products. Last time we were in, the customers were not middle class, it was obvious by the vehicles they drove, etc. Even the frozen baked goods that didn't sell (I'm only assuming) are overpriced. It's too bad because we really enjoyed the place.

Forget the big stores to save a few bucks on meats. Heatherlea offers the tenderest, most healthy cuts of meats, organic, all local grown. Light up the bbq/charcoals and enjoy the best tenderest steaks, chicken, lamb, etc etc.

Nice staff and the chef and butcher both came to talk to us to explain their craft. Quality is excellent, price is reasonable compared to Toronto high-end butchers.

Great selection of all kinds of meat. Cooked meals too, but the meat is the reason for going there. Well aged beef and chickens as they used to be years ago. They have taste.
