Nice ambience with good selection of beers. I ordered shoulder of lamb (large chop on the bone) with mashed potatoes and veg and my wife's first taste of sea bass on mash - both excellent with veggies suitably al-dente, with good service.

Very tasty, fresh and well priced food. A nice range of specials and a cosy atmosphere. We'll certainly be making a second visit!

After not visiting for a while the place had been redecorated and still is warm and inviting, the food was all hot, nicely presented and delicious. The staff are friendly and the service was good. Would definitely go back soon.

New Decor since our last visit...clean and fresh looking. Real shame the lovely open fires have been replaced with nasty electric variants. Food was of course just as good as ever. Losing the open fires has taken away much of the charm in my opinion....More
