It seems there is a downsizing going on. No more fab deals, curtailed menu, empty restaurant. The food was pretty ok, not great as usual, it seems the life has left Zaara's. This is a shame because I've raved about it in another review. Anyone got any answers to what is happening?

Absolutely fantastic. The food and drink were both perfect. Fruit and Nut Naan Bread is to die for also. Cheers Harry and staff.

Not an extensive menu but the 2 dishes we had were excellent. Chicken saag and a keema dish. Both were nice and meaty and not too much ghee...hurrah! We had a seasoned roti but the seasoning was really a bit of a waste of time. House red wine was ok too. We'd go back...service not scintillating but they are making... More

Having frequented Zaara’s previously and placed glowing reviews on TA, last night’s visit was unfortunately extremely poor in relation to the service we endured. We must echo a few of the recent reviews on here and although the two young ladies waiting tables were pleasant and polite enough, the basics of supplying good customer service that we have experienced here... Nice food and pleasant surroundings but very slow service. A family restaurant working hard but wouldn't like to be there if it was full.

Booked as had been before but very disappointed this Saturday. Waiting staff pleasant but did not appear to have been trained. Food OK, but not great but almost an hour to wait for main course and had to fetch cutlery ourselves as not offered any by staff. Manager nowhere to be seen and focus seemed to be on supplying takeaways... More

I visted this restaurant with my family in December 2016 from Sheffield and this has to be the worst indian restaurant that I have experienced from start to finish and we have tried so many and we wished we had just left and gone to the much better Shimlas Spice just down the road. We heard some good reports about... More

The early bird menu (17.00>19.00) at Zaara’s is very cheap at £13 for 2 courses and this includes a bottle of vino, but is the food worth it? After eating there this week for the first time, my answer is a very definite “YES!” – and had I known that on their Facebook page there was an “amazing offer of... More
